Ok man we in da quarters. You've got either Agassi or Youhzny. YOu can do bro!! I gots faith in you!! Even if ya lose this next match, ya made it farther than most folks expected!!! Love ya!!

Oh now back to earth. Agassi and Youhzny. Uh, Agassi not sweat. As my Egyptian bro-in-law would say: "This man? He am perfect!"

It was a fabulously tense match with many changes and swings.

It was the best match of the day in that it was the most competitive and the most exciting.

Could you see the match Star?

I thought espn was not showing it in the usa.

Great match indeed.

I dont like Guillermo but he always plays fun matches here and in the lipton.

I'm at the tournament. I make it a point to go see all of Guillermo's matches. :)

He wasn't as good today as he was against Max Mirnyi, but he showed good fight.

btw.... did you get to see the match?

lol... Carla broke through the little rope they use to keep back the crowd until the break because after waiting through that first very long game of the third set, she just couldn't wait any longer. They tried to call her back... But Guille just kept drinking water until she was nearly in her seat. :)

Yeah, I saw the match live on espn latin america.

After one great point in the third set the whole stadium started claping and celebrating, were you there?

03-17-2004, 04:12 AM
Yes!! I was standing up and cheering... screaming El Mago!!!

I was only five rows back from the court.

I didn't write anything about this for the Guille forum yet, but I did write something on the other two matches.

I'm afraid that Gulle won't be able to do anything against Agassi.

03-17-2004, 04:16 AM
Why, Guille is injured ?

03-17-2004, 04:25 AM
No, I just meant that I don't have hopes that he will beat Agassi.

It was a very good match and congrats to Coria, even though I don't like him, he played very well and for him he has to serve well and get that backhand up the line working well for him to have a chance against Agassi.

03-17-2004, 04:39 AM
Did you see the match, rassklovn?

03-17-2004, 04:44 AM
Yes, star I don't have ESPN coverage.

03-17-2004, 04:53 AM
No, I just meant that I don't have hopes that he will beat Agassi.

He better not.

Andre's wimpy loss to the pretender in last year's FO was when I knew Agassi was at the last breaths of his career. If he can't beat Coria on hard-court, after extended rest, he might as well call it quits cuz he ain't beating Ferrero let alone Roddick let alone Federer.

Go Baldy!

Go Coria go!!!

NO Guillermo NO.

03-17-2004, 01:39 PM
go guille!!! He can do it! :D

03-17-2004, 02:01 PM
Go Whiney boy!

I hope Guillermo wins, because I have never seen Federer play Coria, and a final between the two would be great.

03-17-2004, 04:54 PM
Guille will hold his own against agassi. I actually think it will be close really.

I also think it would be great to have coria up against federer for once. Id like to see how they match up, though domino, they would only be able to meet together for the SF´s and not the Final. ;)

Can Guille beat AA in USA?? If only...

I just hope that this match isn't onesided. I might actually be on my tv, afterall.
