Considering that this tournament does actually have great live scoring, is this really necessary? It seems like you're doing a lot of unnecessary work and you could save yourself the trouble.

Actually, it's good that there doing this because the Niemeyer - Boeker match is over and is off the scoreboard yet I don't know how the match was played or what the score is.
So thanx for posting this!

Sheesh, is Calatrava still around these days? There is a man who beat Agassi and Sampras in back to back claycourt Masters in 2001, then completely disappeared off the map.

Anybody know what happened to Reid's match?
@ 5-3 (30-15) they stopped updating it and now it's nowhere to be found.

Koubek lost 4 and 4 to Weiner - he's growing more useless by the day. Ah, the good times of the AO QF seem a long way away now...

If you want to see today's results, open the live scoreboard and click on the results tab. That is being updated faster than anything else.

Woohoo for Zack!!!! And Robert!!!!

austrian news reported that Koubek's wrist is a steady problem all the time

might be the reason... or simply out-of-form

Hmm, I never knew he had any sort of an injury, I just thought he was going into one of the near-terminal slumps that he specialises in. He seemed fine when he played doubles with Roddick in Doha...

sorry, my bad... it was not the wrist, but his upper arm

here is a short written report of what I have heard last week

Who is that Müller?
a guy from Luxembourg

I believe it's Gilles Muller, a promising young Luxembourgeois who was junior no. 1 a couple of years ago. I'll get to see a lot more of him this April since Luxembourg is playing at home against GB in the Davis Cup.

What on earth is going on with Joachim Johansson. He is playing a guy ranked 444 named Odesnik in the world and lost the first set in a tiebreak and has been broken three times already in the 2nd set although he has also broken back twice as well. The score is 7-6 4-2 to Wayne Odesnik. This could be a huge upset. And it puts large question marks on Joachim's previously outstanding form.

Wayne Odesnik won!!! 7-6(5) 6-3. I think alot of players who were drawn to face a qualifier are now breathing a big sigh of relief.

Robert :D

BIG sigh of relief when Robert won. I was listening on radiotennis.com and if the commentating was accurate, Robert was throwing a few of his hissy fits. I've seen him throw these fits when he's winning and then go on to lose a set. I like how he plays and what he's like when his attitude is positive but these fits when winning have to go. Important thing is that he won.

Dmitry :D :D

Another BIG sigh of relief. No commentary from this one but watching the scoreboard, Dmitry was down a break in the 2nd & by the time it started working again he was serving for the second set.

Good Luck to both of these guys! They're the only favorites I have in quallies...lol. They can get to the main draw as long as they stay away from Alex B. ;) .

There was no live commentary so these are just my thoughts. I think it could've possibly been a mix of being over confident and having not played competitively for almost 3 weeks. Maybe he made that mistake that most players make a few times throughout their career...underestimated his opponent based on the opponent's ranking. This is just my thought process though :) .
