Did change style of first post a bit, this way it's easier to find back results, if anyone wants to.

Did add Rotterdam results and did add Miami to the list of tournaments to play.

Just wondering... should I add the doubles results as well?
Did add the doubles already, was bored :p And I like editing such threads

I like it when he plays doubles, esp with Oli :yeah: they are great together. I'll keep the double results in it then. Will try to update after every tournament (if I forget, please someone tell me :p)

Did update the first post, adding new tournies to it. I just don't know yet if he'll play either in Poertschach or Düsseldorf. I think the last one, but he did sign up for the first as it was not sure if Belgium could play in Düsseldorf. I really hope he will, coz I will soon order my tickets for Düsseldorf (been there the last 2 years as well, it's a great tournament :D). Makes me remember... :bounce: another great (expected) tournament to add to the schedule: Halle.

That means I will most probably see him twice in a short time as I will go to both Düsseldorf and Halle :)

Edit: the following Dutch article talks about the schedule of Kris and it mentions that he changed his schedule compared to last year, that he will play Düsseldorf, but that it isn't sure yet who will be his teammates there, as they didn't play in one team anymore with Malisse since a while.
And then it mentions that he will also play the Grass tournament of 's Hertogenbosch, just like last year. Means I can see him for the 4th time this year

(belga/dm)

I did add two more tournaments to the schedule, Gstaad and Amersfoort, two clay tournies after Wimbledon.
I really had ot laugh, when I did check the entry-lists alst night, before I went to sleep I saw the entry-list of Amersfoort. I definitely have to visit the tournament now Kris is coming there :rolls: (even while the tournament is in my country, I've never been there, but I really want to visit it this year)
Go please and take more pictures :worship: ;)

I'll see if I can go a day, I definitely want to visit it this year, but even while it's in my summerholiday, it's not that easy scheduled. YOu know, as I often got a summerjob then and work fulltime

Yes I know you are very busy, but I hope you do get there long enough to at least get some Kristof pics ;)

Well he did defeat Santoro today :) I would really like to see Kristof get back on track. I don't know the draw for this Tournament, but the last Tournament Kristof just had a killer of a draw

He has bad luck with draws

Updated with Rosmalen results and Umag is added to the schedule, seems he won't play in week 30, i don't see him in the entry-lists of that week.

the red arrows make me sad
even while I didn't post here, I did follow him rather good. Watched some matches at tv, saw him in Mons (tho only walking by as I was there at the qualies only), I read news about him at the Belgian teletext... so I also read about how he experienced it, how he's trying to fight out and we only have to hope that he finds his game back soon :)

I was watching his results also  It is strange how a player's game can just go away  And Kris isn't the only player to have that happen by any means.

it goes with ups and downs for most players, except for the top. At least Kris could still play, I had to miss my favourite almost the whole season

yeah, he did play some tournies at the start of the year (Doha, AO, DC1strd, Rotterdam and Dubai) at the last he got injured... he made his comeback at the beginning of this month in Mons, but only as a try. I was t here and he told me his knee still hurted while playing. He will play again next week in Basel, he received a WC for MD... I hope he can then be around at the tour for a longer time :)

It would have to be hard for a Pro Player to come back from an injury. Just being off the Tour for a long time is bad because they don't have all the Match play they need  I hope Marco will start feeling better so he can play without pain :)

he's out for another few months, he needs surgery

anyway, i will try to update Kristof's results for this season tomorrow. And then start a new schedule for next season as soon as some entry-lists are out. Hopefully we'll have more to cheer for then :yeah:

there are always some matches to be added, no matter if he wins or loses. And new tournies have to be added as well... I hope he'll soon start to win more though :bounce:

Try to forget it, it's still good for his ranking and nice that he could win some matches in a row. And he wasn't even ranked in this challenger, so it's still a good result :)

I finally discovered why I had the feeling the schedule wasn't complete. I forgot to add the DC tie which will be this weekend. Hope I can see a bit of it :)

I had completely forgotten about the DC tie
 After the U.S. FINALLY won it again last year it just left my mind  I just know that U.S. team was glad to finally nail down that Victory :) It had just taken them years to do it :p (Seriously that same team has been trying for like 7 years or more to get that victory). And now I think they are having a "let down" because none of them are really playing that well on Tour now

Nymeria

So I am not the only one who forgot about it :o in Holland there is not much to do about it as we got a first round bye (not in world group of course, we are so bad... :p) and I have simply been too busy to follow it... I only discovered in Switzerland that the Swiss team would play soon  (in general I follow the Swiss team really good, dunno what got into me these weeks, with not following them :p)

Well poor Kristof didn't do well  I was really shocked that both Andy and James won their Matches on CLAY :yippee: You know I remember a quote from Roger after he got to be #1. He said he wanted to thank the players that he played early in his career because they hit to his backhand so much that it made his backhand stronger. May be if countries keep putting the U.S. Davis Cup on clay it will improve their ability to play on clay

it makes sense! (well Roger is of course a smart guy  ) because you need practise to learn something!

Try to look at it this way with Kris as well. He needs to play top10 players regularly, and he'll learn how to play against them!

May be with Kris' current ranking we should make that players above 50  He needs to win more Matches and have more Match play time. I think that was partly why his ranking went down so badly because he couldn't stay in any Tournament long enough to get much Match play time. And I'm sure all the defeats started to get him down

I'm glad Kris is playing CH Tournaments. He needs to get points to help his ranking.
I'm amazed that some other players won't go back and play CH even if they do need ranking points  BTW thanks for the update :D

well with his rank he simply has to, he cannot always entry the ATP tournaments and indeed, sometimes it's easier to get the points in challengers. I really hope he'll soon find his way back in the rankings... :)
