Aussie Open~ I've been going there every year since 1987 & comparing it to the other Slams i watch on TV; well quite frankly we Aussie's are more friendly & fun loving, also treating all international players with respect (unlike USO).
*A ground pass ticket only costs $20 and with that you can see some pretty big matches on Margaret Court Arena & Vodafone Arena, plus all the players are very accessible and willing to give autographs on the practice courts.
* The weather is usually great & if it rains they can always close the roof on the two main stadium courts.
### Roland Garros is probably my 2nd favourite because it's cool watching the long rallies & many epic 5-set matches in the red dirt. Also the stadium looks just the right size^ not too big(a la USO) & not too old-fashioned(a la Wimbledon).

Well, it's close between the Australian Open and Wimbledon, but I voted for Wimbledon, just because I love grass court tennis. The tradition doesn't work for me; the atmosphere in Melbourne always seems much nicer.

I don't hate it, but I don't like it at all. Commercialism has taken control of it; it's broadcast at a very poor time, if it is broadcast at all here and the surface is not one I like to watch. For me personally, the US Open should be replaced by a different tournament.

I vote for USOpen because it is the tournament I can actually go to every year. For that reason I look forward to it more than the others.

But if I didn't live in NYC, maybe one of the others would be my fave, because the commercialism etc. of the USO irritates me too.

I like the USO and Aussie best because I like the courts, the relaxed atmosphere, the fun people, etc.

The terrible line calls and unfair draws at AO are
incomparable to other slams.

The US Open? Laid back? Have we been going to the same US Open? Yikes. Fast paced and loud? Yes. Laid back? No.

Anyways, I voted for Roland Garros. Clay court tennis is tops, imo.

Hands down, Roland Garros - but considering my signature below, I'm slightly biased :)

I have answered this before, but the answer is still the same Roland Garros.

Wimbledon, because I got really good seats one year from JMac after interviewing him and asking him "What is the first thing you teach a pupil of yours? Always argue, rackets are replacable, or penalties don't matter?" He laughed and gave me great tickets and said, "I teach them to never ask stupid questions."

Heh. Well the players I like best do better at Roland Garros as well. But I think that the reason I like those players, is that they do well on clay... not that I like clay because people I like do well on it.

Ya follow? ;)

Clearly it's a bit of both for me, as I love the chess-like quality of clay court tennis, as well as the rich history and ambiance of Roland Garros itself. My fav players generally doing well there is kinda like frosting on the cake for me :)

US Open. it gives me chills when i see promos for it, or the opening segments to every live broadcast. Wimbledon a close 2nd because seeing grass court tennis for 2 weeks of the whole entire year is pretty awesome

Indeed. We are very corrupt and aim to hire the most incompetent linespeople available at the time. However, I like the Aus Open.
1) I am aussie
2) I am a tight-ass/cheapskate Aussie and can only afford this one / and fit it into my study schedule.

Plus, the Swedish Army make it enjoyable, and it is ridiculously easy going. Plus, I've met heaps of my internet tennis mates there! Ok, only about 5 people, but still that's pretty good.
