Very competitive match but also a few light moments between them, smiling and a bit of banter. But they've played some amazing points that have had them both scrambling all over the place.

Their shotmaking is very serious but their attitudes seem very lighthearted.

Both of them smiling quite often - I never see them doing that during a serious match. So we should not put too much weight on the result, IMHO.

I like the way they each answered the "What do you think of the other guy?" question - Roger was very generous, and Rafa I think was a bit more candid about the whole being-#1-and-#2-but-still-friendly business.

It was great because they were both actually talking to each other, except through the interviewer.

Maybe they should sort it out with an exhibition pillow-fight :devil: :angel:

I think so, most definitely. It must be pretty hard to have to speak out to a huge crowd in a foreign language you don't really feel comfortable with, so all kudos to Rafa for managing the way he did! :worship:

I agree. Nothing is ever casual between these two. Fed did acknowledge Rafa is his chief rival without using the one dimensional quote.

Just an exo, they both got paid well, and they put on a good show for the fans both in Korea and those crazy enough, like me, to get up at the crack of dawn to watch them play.
