above the results, who is for you the youngster who has played the best this year?richie21 11-01-2006, 10:04 AM i would go with Rafa.......but Marcos runs him very close in my opinion :) NB:i only picked in the poll players who are under 22. stebs 11-01-2006, 10:54 AM Nadal by a country mile. The other youngsters aren't in the same league as him yet. When you mention youngsters usually it is best to leave Nadal out, he is still a youngster but he isn't up and coming like the others. He has already come. I can't really see how anyone can vote against him TBH. Easily #2, a GS and a GS final along with 5 titles, the clay streak, 2 AMS titles. savesthedizzle 11-01-2006, 10:56 AM I didn't vote for Rafa because I think it's silly to include a 2-time GS champ in a poll like this. Norrage 11-01-2006, 10:57 AM Baghdatis surely...MAybe he only had some results in the grand slams but that's what it's all about really. CooCooCachoo 11-01-2006, 11:02 AM The best? Nadal. But he hasn't shown the most progress. stebs 11-01-2006, 11:13 AM I didn't vote for Rafa because I think it's silly to include a 2-time GS champ in a poll like this. I did vote Rafa but other than that I agree. The other young guns are in a bit of a competition/race to see who can reach potential first. Rafa isn't in this race and shouldn't be in this poll. mandoura 11-01-2006, 12:26 PM I didn't vote for Rafa because I think it's silly to include a 2-time GS champ in a poll like this. Same here. I didn't even notice he was on the list until I started reading the posts. I went to the player's name (Novak :) ) I wanted to vote for directly. landoud 11-01-2006, 12:28 PM I went for Gasquet Klaas_nalbandian 11-01-2006, 12:38 PM when you include nadal there is only one winner possible otherwise based on grand slams marcos | |
