LMAO. I was just thinking the very same thing! Feds was being called the energizer bunny but how many weeks has Gonzo been playing?

Poor Feña will be sent to the final in a strecher. At least it was only 2 sets this time.

Gonzo played well with limited errors. A very academic victory it looked like. Stan didn't look very "on" out there and rarely had any forehand winners.

Third final in three weeks, great champion and great fighter !!!

Easier match for him today and easier for us to watch :)

Good luck for tomorrow but...

He's sitting only 8 and 9 points behind Boredo and Blake on the race now. That means that with a 3rd round performance in Paris he has a chance to be in TMC (provided one of Boredo and James loses their first match). In the worst case, he'll likely be the first alternate, and I'm pretty sure there'll be some withdrawal to TMC.

It would be too sad if after those great weeks, he could be only the first alternate !! Hope he'll finish the job in Paris, he deserves the Masters Cup !!

He has a good chance. If he wins his first match and Boredo loses his first match - that's it (unless Marcos or Mario reach the final). He's being far more consistent than Boredo and James, so if his body holds up he should qualify directly.

I didn't realize Gonzo was the defending Basel champion. Good job getting back to the final.

(Marcos) Baghdatis will not play next week.
