Well this is the next Tournament Tommy is scheduled to show up in. I hope he decides to play in this one
I wonder if when he realized that he wasn't going to make it to TMC he just kind of gave up? Or maybe he is just physically worn out? Something sure is wrong because he is not the same player now that he was earlier in the year.

I've ever put up threads while Tommy was still playing. But that wasn't a good idea because then I forgot I had done a thread and did a double thread  And after your last comment in the St. Petersburg's thread I don't know if you're looking forward to this Tournament or not?

Well, Llodra it is then. The good thing is: that probably means that Tommy will play on the Center Court. The bad thing: if he makes one false move (for example complaining to the umpire), he'll have to face the wrath of the french crowd.

Good luck, Tommy! :yeah:

he should beat Llodra I think. He has to win the tournament, then he can go to the masters cup. Even a final isn't enough

Haas IS the favorite in tomorrows match, but can he carry the burden? Remember the painful loss in Vienna, ppl. :( He won the match in Madrid, but who knows. Tomorrow it might be time for another loss again?

Come on, Tommy! Take care of Hrbaty and then take revenge for the US Open QF loss against Davydenko. Or maybe give him a nice present for his marriage. ;) He doesnt need that win as much as you do, after all. :)

very good Tommy is fighting for last chance!! :) :yeah: :yeah:

But I don't think he win tournament
but maybe he gets to Masters when somebody is injured and outside of #8 rank is enough

Well I'm personally thrilled. I don't post here for a few days and come back and Tommy is winning again :yippee: I just wish he wasn't playing Dom again  :scared: But even if Tommy doesn't get to go to TMC his ranking will have to go up :) Because he is winning points and now the only person ranked lower in the Tournament than Tommy is Dom!

Okay, we all know I like Tommy and congratulations and I'm happy and so on in this vein. :) But why have his two best results this year involved beating Marat just when Marat was doing well? *pouts*

Does anybody know how much points Tommy has to defend in Paris?
It would be a very big surprise if he would be able to qualify for Shanghai, and that´s something I really wish him. If Tommy will beat Hrbaty, he will play Robredo or Davydenko. And because its a best-of-5-match, he has a chance to win...but first he has to face Hrbaty. He won the last meeting...

TommyB.
11-04-2006, 10:13 AM
I think he has to defend 47 entry points (R64/2005). Top 10 is possible too...

Alexiana

Of course I meant the positive ones ;) He has some of these too

Tommy retired again; they're saying in GM he was feeling light-headed and faint and couldn't play.

Get well soon, Tommy, see you at Shanghai if enough people withdraw, and next year if not.

Can someone tell me what on earth happened??? I saw when he was talking to that therapist, but I think he was just feeling tired and figured he couldn't hang on two more sets (and win). Sad, but better luck next year, Tommy ;)
