harvey
02-24-2004, 02:10 PM
how does anyone think kucera and gonzales' games will match up? both lost easy in their 1st round last week. they've never met. should be interesting...gonzales power to win over?

dylan24
02-24-2004, 02:10 PM
he needs to get a real coach. otherwise his career is going to stay in a downward spirtal. fire your dad paradon! and get a real coach.

dylan24
02-24-2004, 02:11 PM
i bet on kucera. of course i also bet on paradon a 1/6 favorite

pomnok

Paradorn lost already 6-1, 3-6, 2-6

dylan24
02-24-2004, 02:17 PM
hey pomnok, why won't paradon get a real coach?
too much loyalty to his father?

pomnok
02-24-2004, 02:21 PM
I don't understand Paradorn's father told that he still got hurt at leg, but why his father allowed him to play double with Gonzalez and lost yesterday. It seemed that he was too stubborn although himself hurt.

pomnok
02-24-2004, 02:22 PM
His father had powered to control himself because his father encouraged him to stay in this point.

Toppu
02-24-2004, 02:44 PM
Well, but the player does have his own idea and should make his own decision because he's the one who knows what went wrong, not his coach or his father or his doctor. I'm kind of surprise that he chose to play here and last week in Rotterdam then Dubai next week prior to the 2 Masters Series in the US. It's too much. He just needs more rest and shouldn't plan to travel from Europe to Asia and then to the North America. OMG What a crazy plan!
I think it would be better if he takes a week off now.

sigh...paradorn, what happened? I thought he was playing great tennis in tata open at the beginning of the year.

Experimentee
02-24-2004, 03:31 PM
Paradorn

Why does he always slump after the AO every year? He was playing great in Chennai and then at the Aus Open. No way he should be losing to Alberto Martin indoors if he kept playing like that.

02-24-2004, 04:22 PM
Oh dear, it's been a downhill for Paradorn. I do hope he pulls himself together in time for TMS events, but looking at his crazy-assed calendar, it wouldn't help at all.

yah i kind of agree with u tangerine...sometimes i wonder what the journalists asked him n how he interprets it thou....wonder why he always uses fatigues as an excuse...of cos that is part of the reason...but credit to carraz...he served 27 aces!!!

Scotso
02-25-2004, 07:10 PM
JC :fiery:

27 aces

Fatigue is an issue... he just played a final and 4 straight long 3 setters...

:bigcry: Juanqui!

It sucks that he crashed out but I wish JCF would stop making excuses for every loss he bears.

COMING TO YOUR RESCUE JUANQUI!

I agree in part with what you said tangerine, but let's not mislead others. This is the version I got from Eurosport so Juanqui did sing some praise to Carraz:

"My legs were heavy. I could not move or hit the ball right. Against a good serve-and-volley player, there is not a lot you can do," the French Open champion said.
