Guillermo plays Davydenko first round and could play Safin in the quarters

02-22-2004, 11:27 PM
tough tough draw for gui, it's a dumb decision to play all the way over in Marseille anyway, wouldnt it have made more sense to stay in south america?

02-23-2004, 12:04 AM
whatever...he needs the hc practice for Indian Wells.

02-23-2004, 06:07 AM
yeh, he does need the hard court practice for Indian Wells, by any chance does anyone know if he is competing in Miami!!!??

02-23-2004, 10:21 AM
yeah...its pretty stupid, he should play brazil instead!!! oh well

could be a jc/guillermo final ...;)

02-23-2004, 02:45 PM
could be a jc/guillermo final ...;)
I'd like that!!! :D

02-23-2004, 04:13 PM
if he gets past Marat Safin...

02-24-2004, 01:00 AM
It would be a tough match against Marat, but first he has to get past Davydenko... it would have been common sense to stay in south america but i guess marseille is tougher and he probably needed practice on hardcourts to get ready for the US hardcourt season.

... hoping it's a JC/Guillie final
