why's coria playing here instead of brazil?
this isn't clay, right?
i suppose maybe he wants to practice indoors for the upcoming tms events, but he has a better chance at getting points on clay

except that the upcoming TMS events are on outdoor hards - one in the desert and one in sweltering South Florida so playing indoors is not the way to get accustomed to those conditions. I thought it interesting that he's trekking over to Europe as well.
A tough little draw though. Whoever comes out of it victorious will be very deserving of the title!

 A tough draw for Juanqui as well. He doesn't have a very splendid record against any of them.

I'm also baffled by Coria's decision to play here - I know he was a late replacement for Roger and I guess they're paying him well, but as far as I know he's playing in Dubai as well, so that means no rest at all between now and Indian Wells - very strange decision. Maybe if he had got a coach he might have been advised better? Still only time will tell.

Wow that's a lot of globe-trotting for Guille. Buenos Aires, then Marseille, then Dubai, then IW all in successive weeks? Hope he's got a frequent flyer plan :)

Maybe, but they've both got a loooooong way to go to get there. Tricky draw.
