I think Ljubo, Nalby, and Robredo will fall, but Blake has one HELL of a tough draw too, but he's been hot lately

Blake, Ljubo and Davy are tired as hell

These 3 are the most possible ones

Ljubicic. He's tired and going up against a few dangerous players in his draw. Same with Blake.

Nalbandian Robredo and Ivan.

Interesting poll. I'm surprised people think Ljubicic is tired. Last year, he won both Metz and Vienna, and still managed to reach the Madrid final.

With that serve, Ljubicic concentrates his energy mostly on returning, he's not tired.
Robredo will fall, and it's going to be sweeet.

I'd say Robredo and maybe Nalbandian and/or Blake (he has a tough draw).

Yeah, I was thinking that too.

The only players that seem likely to be defeated before the Quarters would be Robredo and Nalbandian.

The other top seeds have all been playing well lately.

Well, I guess, from the other six Nadal could be defeated by Malisse or Haas but otherwise aside from Robredo and Nalbandian they seem pretty safe to make the Quarters.

Davydenko most likely to not reach the quarters because I really don't see him overcoming PimPim then Gonzo.

i hope nadal. :bounce:

i voted for nalbandian. ljubicic, blake and davydenko are gonna be tired but they still can reach the quarters at least. nalbandian didn't play very well on the last tournaments and also the draw is tough.

Andy Roddick has only won one match in Madrid
Besides he doesn't play his best Tennis in Europe 'except Wimbledon and Queens)

WOW - Blake's draw is nightmarish but he can do it. He doesn't play until Wednesday.

Ivan will not be tired. Last year he won Metz, Vienna, final in Madrid, for some reason went to Lyon, then made the finals in Paris again and this is all with no break in between so i doubt he is gona be tired just after one tournament where he didnt even lose a set.

Depends on what Ljubicic has left after the final but if he continues playing well upset will be avoided.

Murray will have 5% chance to beat ljubicic. Ljubicic is almost impossible to break in indoor synthetic surface. Even Federer and Roddick struggled against him last year. Murray has a great return but murray's serve is weak and he has cope with ljubicic's powerful service games and strong backhand returns.
Fatigue is not a factor for ljubicic.

No but he is far better than Ljubicic. He won a major and reached two wimbledon finals compared to him. "Serve only" will not get yout that far. ;)

Roddick used to be better then Ivan but now there's no comparison. Look at thier recent head to heads and Ivan actually knows how to hit a groundstroke.

Ljubicic was in slump after French Open. He lost to lopez pretty badly.
Ljubicic has now become indoor specialist and he might demand ATP and ITF to introduce an indoor major tournament.(Which is good idea ofcourse.)

But now Roddick is back to where he belongs. :worship:
