Gosh, now that's what they call a tough meeting! Guys've fired 48 aces, JJ saved 3 MPs IN A ROW (!!), then Vliegen does the same in a TB plus another MP a bit later - finally, Johansson uses the force and takes the crucial minibreak . Damn, Nathii will make hell of a note in her blog
Anyway, I guess we may say good old Pim Pim is back (I guess so...)

Heja Sverige! Heja PimPim!

Saving those three match points at 0-40 in the third set and then blowing 6-3 to 6-6 in the TB only to turn the tables and win it.

I just know he was going for the sweet knockout winner on those MPs and hit them long. :D

Congrats to both for one hell of a match. The match of the tournament, easily.

The roof is shaking!

Joachim Johansson beat Christoph Vliegen in 1/4 final of Stockholm, it was 6:7(5), 7:6(5), and 7:6(7). Johansson is now playing in his first semifinal on ATP tour since winning the title in Marseille last year. Bravo Pim-Pim.:worship:

Unbelievable and great win of Pim Pim :bounce: :bounce:

He was so mentally strong in the end and even hit aces with his 2nd serve :)
And he was so happy afterwards :yippee:

All the best for his match against Nieminen tomorrow :yeah:

Pim went down on his serve 0-40 in the third set and then raced to a big lead (5-1) in the tiebreak, but Vliegen came back to tie it up and then it was a slug fest to the finish. :)

She will, but it's so hard to keep in check all the thoughts when so manny things happened and are happening man this was crazy!!!!

TB only to turn the tables and win it.

How did you know that Vliegen turned the table?

Nope, Pim-Pim was up 4-2 in the last tie. Then had 6-3 and two own serves. Vliegen fought back to 6-6. At 7-6 Pim-Pim finished it off with an amazing backhand lobb.

Oh thanks! :hatoff: I was following it in the scoring thread because I didn't have a scoreboard, and that's what was reported. There must have been a mix up somewhere. I was a bit :fiery: at the time that he had blown such a big lead. I'm glad to hear it wasn't the case.
