2006 Meetings between the two teams, home team in listed first, winner in bold

Round 7: Hull 0 - 46 St Helens

Round 16: St Helens 26 - 27 Hull

Qualifying SF: St Helens 12 - 8 Hull

Of the 3 meetings, Hull have covered the respective spreads 2/3 times.

I remember all the games quite well. Round 7 marked Hull's worst defeat in their superleague history. It was all over within the first 20min and by HT the score was 30-0.

Round 16 was probably the best SL match I have watched ever. Hull were in the midst of the record breaking streak with them coming back from 6-16 down at Knowsley Road. Cooke had a blinder but it was the Hull defense which ultimately won it for them.

The final game last fortnight was a tight affair as the scoreline suggests but played in miserable conditions effectively cancelling out the Saints' running game.

Lines are already up for this match:

ST HELENS SAINTS -8.5
HULL FC +8.5

Saints have had the week off leading up to this, Hull put on a brilliant defensive effort last week to hold out the Bulls.

I'll be playing this one, be back closer to the day with more comments.

Don't see there being an upset today, Saints have too many game breakers in their team.

Saints to cover -8.5 v Hull - $1.90

good luck
