Only his serve is keeping him in the match right now.

"Normally" Becker should win this.

Yes, he's really showing his age today.

It's not his age, it is his sciatic nerve problem, which has nothing to do with age.

It's tough to watch.
Good that he pulled off the second set just now.

Becker is a jerk. He can still win, but probably won't.

He's 3/3 in challenges though.

He still looks like he's 36, regardless of his sciatic nerve problem.

Why is he a jerk?

Because he lost the second set, and is now playing tactically dumb.

Agassi is feeling the pain, you can see it. He would have an easier time otherwise, but Becker is playing very well also I must say.

Oh. Well, this match is pretty horrible. For a second I thought you meant he is a jerk for hitting dropshots! He is smart.

Realistically, with how Agassi is moving, Becker should not have a 1:1 ratio of winners:unforced, but he keeps spraying forehands out all over the place.

And Agassi can't play with any strategy at this point because he is physically limited.

Anyone else thinks itīs funny to hear the crowd boo whenever Becker drop-shots Agassi?

How the hell can you do that to him? haha

The crows, I mean crowd, is starting to act miserably once again.

You were faster than me;) The booing is just crazy. Itīs still a professional tennis match after all and not an Agassi tribute match.

Yeah. They didn't start until the dropshots, really. Once Becker started hitting the droppers, the crowd went to booieng his serve misses... That's what really gets me. The serve is something the opposing player has no affect on what-so-ever so it just pure hatred to boo a serve miss.

:wavey: You are too young to have known from your own, maybe a family member?

It would be great if Agassi can win the 4th set, anything is possible after that given the situation for both players. Agassi could pour every ounce of energy into the 5th set I can see him winning it.

So yeah, it does have to do with age I guess. Not necessarily, but likely.

AA's strategy limited to should I bother to run across the court to retrieve that shot or not...Wonder if he'll ever walk w/out pain again in his life..

The 2nd set tie break started with a double fault which was applauded. A couple of points later a side line official, obviously an Agassi fan, called the ball out; Hawkeye identified the officials error and the call rectified. In third set a lob was called out and you have guessed it for the 3rd time Hawkeye reversed a call. In each case despite Becker being correct the crowd seemed to object to his questioning. What is going on in the US Open.

I hate to be detailed but I must  Can you say that today he looked like a 36 yo tennis player/sportsman who has cause for a lot of wear and tear on his body.
