Poll: The battle of the weak forehands: Berdych vs. Tursunov

I am surprised there is no poll for this match, it promises to be highly entertaining with two of the weakest forehands on the tour. Both men would love to have a forehand like, say, Stepanek, but they will have to do with what they have. Thoughts?

If the thread was made in a ironic way (meaning the contrary as you said) I don't find Berdych's forehand too strong, but his backhand is

This match will go 5 sets and both men wish they had either a Bj÷rkman or a Stepanek forehand, the main question is when it will be played due to the weather.

Tursunov in 5.

Berdych to lose in 5? That'd be a novelty...

I say Birdman in 4.

Voted Tursunov in 5, but now i'm having doubts whether byrdych will lose to him if it goes to the 5th.

Unless it is a bad match up for berdych I cant see how tursunov wins this - He hits hard but has never really impressed me that much

It's not like either of these guys are the beacon of stability, so anything could happen in this one. I think Berdych will win, but I won't be dissapointed if he doesn't.

I think Tursunov is going to win... Berdych is good, but I think that Tursunov is better... My guess is Tursunov in 5

stick a fuse wire in each and see which one blows the 1st
the one standing is the winner.

me will watch this for sure
only other match that can beat this is
Dima vs Marat.

I would be surprised if this match does not go 5 sets, since both men leave little margin for error and it appears very likely that we will see many changes in momentum. I will go with Berdych in 5, but i would not be surprised (or disappointed for Tomas) if Tursunov wins.

Berdych does not go for clean forehand winners from 5 meters behind the baseline that much these days but I still find his forehand a piece of work.

Just hope they don't put these two in a shitty court with no TV.

I bet Spadea would say there is something wrong with the geometries of both forehands

With all the delays to the schedule, they will tell these guys to play in the Bronx.

They are scheduled 3rd match on court 11, following a WTA match and Malisse-Novak.

I'd be just out there for that match. It's funnier Gaudio has a bigger court and he is playing a less attractive match on paper.

This is one of the most interesting matches of the day but the important thing is to complete the schedule, any more rain delays and the situation will get very funny.

Yes, at least they are playing Safin and Rochus first, but if they don't get the matches completed today, then the shenanigans will be in full force.

Hmm, I really can't figure out who wins this one. I will give the edge to Berdych.
