Good for him. I think he's playing well and feeling good about his chances. He seems a lot more relaxed this year.

Good result but I would like to see more on the forehand. Obviously this wasn't a big challenge but he served well, volleyed well, moved well, and hit some good backhands.He has a chance to win his section of the draw.

Serra would have lost against almost anybody today, but Roddick seemed pretty good.

He played well and he looked like the old confident A-Rod, but i agree, Serra did help him a lot. I'm looking forward to seeing how he reacts to being under pressure..down a break with someone banging in good groundshots and rushing into the net. I have a feeling he could panic, get a bit negative and return to his recent shakey ways.

I hope he proves me wrong as i would love him to have a good tournament, but still not convinced he's a potential finalist as many are suggesting.

He has an easy 2nd match up as well where he can work on his game a bit more.

Andy was on top form today and hopefully he can keep it going.

He played very well today, he was very dominate and confident but grr Andy don't let anything dumb get to you like the stupid call the Ump made and you mouthing off about it for the next 5-10 mins...didn't get you anywhere...all in all awesome job and keep it up! :yeah:
