AFL - Records for ATS

just started to record a new system for ATS in AFL.. and i have few questions

1) is it really worth it .i mean whether it will have an impact on how we bet for spreads.

2) where to get historical data for spreads from Round 1 onwards

feel free to comment or post data

i will try to post some data if i can hold of any.
