Will the French dominate men's tennis in the next 10 years?

French are usually good in the juniors or younger categories, especially the boys, but becoming a successful pro is not always that easy, not all of them make it to the top 100 then.

Congratulations and good luck to these 2 pals.

Yeah they usually dont make a good transition to the pro tour. I remember a French guy Clement Morel won the juniors here a few years ago and hasnt done anything on the pro tour yet.

Monfils also made the 2003 Orange Bowl finals where he lost to Baghdatis... Ouanna is younger than both and has an explosive game, really powerful groundstrokes but has to improve his mental strenght and focus and also court ethics... he is so strong and talented that he sometimes just gives half an effort and doesn't chase difficult shots... he will soon find out that if you don't give it all in the pro circuit, results won't come your way that easily...

Actually Gael is younger, LOL

But anyway, great to see they both made the final...they thoroughly deserved it....both of them played some GREAT tennis all week!!

I was however a little suprised by the score line
