Wow, I've never seen seen so many bagels handed out in a men's Slam draw before...they are giving the women a run for their money :p

Who, in this Rd. of 16 group, will end up serving the most tasty bagels???

The race so far:

1.Roger Federer
Bagels served: 3
4th rd: Lleyton Hewitt 4/6 6/3 6/0 6/4
3rd rd: Todd Reid 6/3 6/0 6/1
1st rd: Alex Bogomolov, Jr. 6/3 6/4 6/0

2. Andre Agassi
Bagels served: 2
3rd rd: Thomas Enqvist 6/0 6/3 6/3
2nd rd: Thomas Berdych 6/0 6/2 6/4

3. Andy Roddick
Bagels served: 1
3rd Rd: Taylor Dent 6/2 6/0 6/2

4. Marat Safin
Bagel served: 1
3rd Rd: Todd Martin 7/5 1/6 4/6 6/0 7/5

5. David Nalbandian
Bagels served: 1
2nd Rd: Florian Mayer 6/1 6/0 6/3

6. J. C. Ferrero
Bagels served: 1
1st Rd: 6/0 6/1 6/1

7. Paradorn Srichaphan
Bagels served: 1
1st Rd: Jose Acasuso 7/5 6/4 6/0

8. Hicham Arazi
Bagels served: 1
1st Rd: Oliver Mutis 7/5 2/6 6/0 6/3

*Ranked by:
1. Most bagels
2. Tastiest bagels (the higher the round and H2H).
3. Biggest bagels (the shorter the match).

Honorable Mentions (players no longer in the hunt)
Dominik Hrbaty
Bagels served: 1
2nd Rd.: Gaston Gaudio 6/1 7/5 6/0

Tim Henman
Bagels served: 1
2nd Rd.: Radek Stepanek 6/2 3/6 6/3 6/0

Karol Beck
Bagels served: 1
1st Rd: Stefan Koubek 6/4 6/0 2/6 6/4

Gustavo Kuerten
Bagels served: 1
1st Rd: John Van Lottum 5/7 6/0 6/1 2/6 8/6

Interesting Bagel Statistics:
14 Bagels handed out in the tournament so far (not including player retirements).
No bagel losses on the men's side.
75% chance to be in the Rd. of 16, if you served a bagel in the 1st rd.
A is for Agassi:
He must like the name Thomas, because the players he bageled had that name.
He evened up his H2H with Thomas Enqvist, he had his most devasting loss to Agassi. Time for Thomas to hang it up?

interesting thread!!! i read the title and thought-- agassi or federer... and sure enough, they're already in the lead. i think they have the greatest capacity to win a lot of games in a row. because their serve/return game is very balanced.

Deboogle!.

I dunno.... Marat's bagel could be most impressive because it came after losing 2 straight sets!

who will get the most bagels though? I don't think any of them will get any more.

OK That is #4 for Federer (my vote), giving him the 100% score so far :D And he deserves it!

i think, and HOPE the bageling will end now. all the players that are left are very good players and undeserving to get bageled.

Sorry CooCoo, I voted for Agassi just to break up the Fed domination.

But both bagels are tasty indeed!

oops I misread the question and voted for Marat. He'll win no doubt, but perhaps without a bagel. I actually would have voted for Roger or Andre.

Well, Roger has given three bagels now, latest one to Lleyton Hewitt in his 4-6, 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 win.

Against Hewitt would have to be the most impressive bagel, and also pushes Roger into the lead. Hopefully Andre will catch up with some more bagels in the later rounds.

Ha ha ha!!! I like that! :worship:

Don't stop the bagel Rogi. You bagelled Nalby in Houston, time to do it again!

rogicomel's location: "The dawn of a new FedEra!"

That's actually really clever and funny.

Just wanted to point that out cause I'm bored waiting for Lindsay and Justine to start. :o

If rogicomel is lucky, it won't be a new FedError! ;)
