The only one I'm 99% sure of is Federer, the rest I'm not all that interested in, to tell the truth. Heh. But I think Ferrero and Flip are doing well. Novak and Nalbandian should come through, and Hewitt with the crowd behind him and some heart will do alright.

Nadal over Hewitt....I smell an upset looming...I just hope I don't jinx the poor guy!!

I have a strong feeling Canas can beat Henman tonight at 9/4. Henman absolutely hates playing any Argentines.... and in turn, Argies always fire against the English in any sporting contest. Henman losing is my pick of the day anyway.

Stick Canas in with your other selections and a £10 stake pays a very nice £255. :)

Hope you're right. My bet's on Cañas as well.

Mark P to beat Ancic
Pavel to beat Novak
Ferrero to beat Johansson

so we've come to the conclusion that nalbandian, federer, ferrero and the scud cannot lose! i still think henman comes into that category too, maybe nadal could be the suprise package. sounds as though there's not much between pavel and novak. costa has got your vote but i'm not convinced by him on a hard court and arazi beat saulnier who is a decent hard court player. so many possibilities! argh!

Albert Costa will beat Hicham

Mark will most definitely beat Mario

Pavel will oust Novak (hopefully) :)

Joachim will defeat Ferrero, since Ferrero's back is not too good and Joachim is very good ;)

Nalbandian will win, but it will be a close match.

Henman will go through against Cañas.

I really hope that Nadal can take out Hewitt!

And Federer will struggle one set with Reid, but will win easily in the end.

David in 4 or 5 (hope so!)
Cañas in 4 or 5 (deeply hope so too!)
Hewitt in 4
Federer in 4

I'm not so great at predictions, but I'm a little surprised by people picking the David/Wayne match to go to four.

I really expect David to win that one easily in 3.

I don't, Star.

Wayne has always been a dangerous player, he can get defeated one week by 6-0, 6-0; and at the next one he can give an upset...

I agree - I want David to win more than anything in the world, but Wayne is a fine player (although can be "streaky"), - and I am VERY nervous about the outcome of this match. David has had a magnificent run of form this last week or so, but at the end of the day he is only just returning from an injury that saw him play only 2 events since August (and one of those he had to withdraw injured from), and he has already done much better than I could have dreamed since returning from injury. So, yes I am extremely nervous.
