JC Ferrero has problems with his back

He had trainer on court in the start of the 1st set!
And his body language is not good! :(

I'm just so tired of all these injures!

I no, but he has continued to play on

His body language is rarely good.

And he's about to serve for the first set.

I'm sure it hurts, but Ferrero has a history of playing up his injuries and still going on to win the match.

He was 2-4 down, he's now 5-4 up, serving for the set.

Not playing very well, is he? I wonder how he got this back injury. Does he have chronic back problems like Justine?

Seems he feels better now!

I guess now when his body warmed up, it's better! :)

Interesting! I guess you have the same attitude towards Lindsay's injuries?

Would you like if somebody loughed about her foot problems?

Hey, relax. Ferrero's my favorite. I just don't think he should lose this match because of a back injury. Sometimes I'm a bit skeptical of his injuries and other times he really pisses me off by blaming losses on them.

I'm listening to the Eurosport radio commentating right now. They said that Ferrero is playing much better from 2-4 down and his back problems seem to be under control right now. He just took a dive, though, did Ferrero. An oucher on the elbow.

In the last game Ferrero badly missed an easy forehand from mid-court. The female commentator said that the shot reminded her of a shot he hit in the RG Final disaster versus Costa; Ferrero mishit an easy forehand and it landed in the RG trophy.

They say Ferrero's backhand is a mess right now. He's missing easy backhand passes.

Does Volandri really have 22 winners to Ferrero's 9?! Ferrero needs to improve his form quickly or he'll be saying bye bye to Melbourne real soon.

Ferrero has problems now with his wrist... he fell on it when trying to volley and he is 2-0 down in the third set.

5-4* Ferrero.

Leo

Ferrero's usually reliable backhand passes are completely failing him in this match. They say his backhand is holding up in the rallies, but not under pressure when it comes to hitting the passing shot.

2 doubles in this game! Supposedly Ferrero's making gestures that show his elbow hurts on the serve. But, nevertheless, he hits a 119 mph serve to secure a 5-4 lead in the 3rd.

Volandri serving to stay in. Free point and it's 0-15.

Ferrero had 0-30 but totally gave that game away. 3 errors.

This type of tennis won't take Ferrero past the fourth round, for sure, if he even can make it out alive today.

Ferrero had a match point but choked it with an easy forehand error *shakes head*

I wouldn't worry about it. One match at a time, afterall. Tomorrow is a new day. Yada yada.

I'm pretty sure he'll beat Pim Pim, then he'll really have to step it up for his fourth round.

His draw is such that a couple crappy days aren't going to send him packing. As long as he gets them out of his system before the fourth round and quarters.

Remember his match against Todd Martin at the USO? :p

Well, he finished. But bad tennis and a couple of injuries. The commentators say he'll definitely need some treatment; but I think he'll be fine physically for his next match.

Oh Becca, don't remind me of that match. ;)

Juan Carlos must be in the next room when Potato man recites the spell he used against Cecil. He caught some ill-effects of it. ;)
