Guga broke the 2nd curse and won against Ljubicic 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-3... I'm really happy, and I even think a lot of people counted Guga out after his first round match... I know Ljubicic wasn't 100%, but he was still serving hard (208 KPH!) and he attacked a lot (way more winners than Guga).. but Guga played great today!
Well done Guga, continue!!! GOOOO!!!

This is really great for Guga. Logic seemed to dictate that he should do better than second round at the AO, and now he proved it!

Ah.. this win is kind of surprising to me! Would've liked to see Ljubicic win, but Guga through is also good.

There were some doubters on another thread here about Guga's chances against Ljubicic - glad to say I wasn't one of them! Five out of six career match wins against a player of Ivan's caliber ain't too shabby. Para benz Guga!!!

I am afraid that I was among the doubters, especially since Kuerten hadn't been playing that well for quite a number of months, whereas Ljubicic had done really well in Doha. To be honest, I didn't think Kuerten would stand a chance at all, but he proved me wrong and I am not too sad about it ;)

lol... in Guga's interview, the guys asked him what can a young player learn by watching him play, and Guga answered "to groan"!!! hahahahha...
Continue Guga!!!! GOOOOOOOOO GUG!!!
Guga's interviews are always wonderful. :)
I've celebrated in two other threads, but Oh well. What the heck.
