God doesn't control sporting events  , only the players are in control of the events and the final score

prayer is useless accomplishes little other than self satisfaction

In God we trust. He will deliver us what is right, what is just. The wicked (Rafa and his fans) will be sent to hell.

With 10 men, too. But Hislop is actually the real God, so it's understandable.

It's funny how, with all these theories about who will win this match and why, very few of them seem to be based on the simple idea that

ONE WILL PLAY A BETTER TENNIS MATCH THAN THE OTHER.

Can't see the wood for the trees, perhaps?

:help:

I think Hewitt already gave the victory to Nadal by losing to him. Hewitt is the tennis Jesus. He sacrifices for the Grand Slam victories of others, and he just about never fails.

Not true. Hewitt lost to Juan Ignacio Chela at the AO this year.

It's in the players' hands; but I pray to God that neither play comes out nervous so that they both play their best tennis and give us a great show.

Oh please, will you leave God out of this one?

Besides, as of late, God seems to favour Rafa over Roger. ;)

I didn't even bother to watch Sweden-T&T. Argentina-Ivory Coast was the match to watch!

And today, exactly in the same time when Roger and Raffa enter RG center court, S&M will start the match against Holland...

How so? Did god guide those 2 match points to a miss?
Once again irrational, stupid and lazy people blaming and taking credit for their invisible god
