When ur fav player loses, how do u feel about the other player??

I hate their guts at first then he turns into one of my favporites!! Well not always but i tend to like them a month later. Eventhough blake beat nadal twice and nadalnever beat him, blake is one of my favorites. So i dont know y federer fans suddenly hate nadals guts. The dont understand that they never played on grass coz nadal never got there!! Ever noticed???This thread isnt about this anyway :o

When my faves lose I don't even think about the other player - my opinion does not change at all. I form my opinions about players based on what they themselves do, not whether they beat my fave (or lose to them, as the case may be).

I make a voodoo doll of that player. And the next time he plays, I poke needles inside the doll during the critical points.

Actually, I don't care much one way or the other. If I liked the opposing player before, I'll probably still like him, and if I disliked him before, I'll probably still dislike him, regardless of the fact that he beat one of my favorites. I can't start disliking a guy just because he's out there doing what he's supposed to be doing.

I don't hate their opponent when my favs lose. Obviously their oppponent wants to win too, and its up to my fav to win not for his opponent to lose.

Of course during the match, I call their opponent every name in the book, but that's besides the point. ;)

For the most part, I like most of the players on the tour...just have to root against them when they are playing my favs.

I usually hire a hitman, and then rescind just in time to save their life.

I go on a banana-buying spree, of course, and send congratulatory fruit baskets to the winner.

In case it isn't obvious, I have been conditioned by Djokovic's hypnotic ball-bouncing in the following manner: whenever I see a post by J'torian, I feel an urge to make a banana joke. Meanwhile, I have received word that the other denizens of Federer's homeworld are going to come down in full force tomorrow and the enormous updraft from their descending space ships will cause a whirlwind that blows all the clay from the court, thus ensuring many sleepless nights for Rod Laver, who will consider rejoining the tour, BUT preventing Pierre Chatrier from turning into a mire of salty quicksand after Federer accepts the trophy from a grateful Vilas.

nobody will ever have perfect record in tennis. you are expected to lose.

As long as they win by fairplay there's nothing to be upset over.

I want to smash the other players across with a racquet as hard as i can.

I don't really care about the other player unless I already hate them, in which case I get annoyed. But most of my favorites lose all the time, so one gets used to it.

It depends on the other player... but I don't hate someone only because he beats my favorite player.
But if I dislike the other player then I get really angry

It doesnt bother me too much. While they are playing my player Ill be rude towards them, but after its done its all 4gotten. It also depends on the opponent, and since I like most players on tour its mainly a non-issue.

If my player loses but puts in 110% to try and win then i don't worry. I like to see good tennis, and if both are playing entertaining and great tennis, than that's all you can ask for.
I get a little nasty at the winner if he has had time outs for injury which occur at critical times, or is forever doing things to add time delays. But if the match is fair - No worries.

I still hate Ancic for beating Henman at Wimbledon in 2004. I'm bad.

I don't hate the opponent either. Although I must admit that I keep a small grudge against players that Kiwi has gotten injured while playing against them. I don't hate them or dislike them, I'm just not fond of them. And yes, I know this makes no sense cuz they don't have anything to do with it.

Safin losing is a matter of course.

Actually now-a-days JC loses so often that I'm more pissed off with him than his opponents. Although Ferrer and Almagro are getting on my nerves
