the time delay in Australia suck for us in the eastern time zone. This is why all the american channel lose money during the Sidney Olympic.

yep, because everyone would know the results first and then no one watched and if no one watches General Electric loses money :o

I hate knowing the result first. It takes out the fun of stressing over your faves.

yeah totally!!! That will happen in AO I'm sure, well for me anyway since my faves will most likely get some night matches that we'll get in the US only on tape delay :(

That's why you don't go online to find out the results until you watch the matches on tape delay. ;)

What sucks about the scheduling is that I won't be able to see a good portion of the matches due to the times coinciding with some of my classes (the tape-delayed matches during the day time here in the U.S.)

This means I'll have to be tape the matches while I'm gone, and since I have some cheap vcr, I won't be able to set the time. I'll have to end up recording all the useless and totally irrelevant non-tennis material as well (per the usual).

yes I will have a problem with classes and tape-delayed.

I was able to pretty much keep myself from looking at the scores online during TMC so I might try that again, the only problem is that I have to be on to gather news and pics and stuff for the site and waiting to see it on tape-delay will put me horribly behind I think.

I can't do that anymore. I don't have the strength to watch a tape delayed match w/o fincing out the result beforehand. Not since early 2002 have I been able to do this.

Me too, but school only start Wed. The night session coincide with homeworks and sleeping. We should start a group support.

Yea.... I was mostly successful during TMC, I think only once I looked and it was when I was SURE that Andre lost to Juan Carlos and then I look at atptennis.com and the headline was something like "Agassi has magical comeback" or something silly and I started crying lol because I was so mad at myself for looking.

I used to be able to do it too. I did it for RG and Wimby last year. I don't think I can harness the willpower anymore though.

I do not think I'll be able to either, not with this kind of time difference lol
