I agree with the Roger part, as for WTA ... Venus will take the French Open Title.

Justine Henin will win again.

And the women's final is Saturday. ;)

No in a slam first Schnyder will be given a spot in the quarters and will beat Hingis in the final 6-7(10). 7-6(9), 31-29 saving 56 match points.

Can't you people keep your predictions to yourselves?

Ditto.
It's like an epidemic.
Please, let's not jinx anyone.

I certainly hope so where Roger is concerned............but, I'm pulling for Venus to win RG ;)

For several weeks I have told my spouse that
with all the focus on Roger for completing a career slam at the French this year, there may be another Swiss who completes a career slam at this French instead (Marti)
Awesome if both or either do it! HOPP SCHWIZ!

Justine to win the French again, watching that woman on clay reminds me oh how much I miss Guga on clay. Beautiful sublime clay game

I couldn't agree more about how sad I am over Guga's tragically truncated career. (String bean just isn't a body type that works well in today's tennis.) But you gotta admit, Roger isn't exactly stinking up the joint in Guga's absence :)

Will there be another year when Croatia will have more players than Spain in the RG quarterfinals? :wavey:

Lets be clear...Martina's good but the focus on Federer is on doing an ACTUAL slam...holding 4 titles in a row (I firmly believe that tennis is not a yearlong sport, its a 52 week one). They are two very different levels of accomplishment.

at least if martina wins ALSO, she gets to achieve a career slam

One can dream but Henin and Nadal are looking too solid as defenders.

Besides Clijsters might spoil the run tomorrow. Who know's how much Super Mario has left in his tank.
