Wow...and to think he's still sitting on 4 first round losses at Master Series' and Grand Slams.
He may deserve the ranking, but it goes to show how much Fed and Nadal are hoarding points.

waht a rise
Ljubo has been on top form for some time now
fully deserves his place
he is still zero wins against ROger, but apart form Nadal, he is the only one who is giving Federer a tough battle
would love to see him do well on grass & wimby

Congrats to Ivan! I really hope he can dislodge roddick as the number 2 player on grass. He has the game for it and hopefully now he has the confidence, too.

well he will keep it one or two weeks and then Nalbandian will overtake him again because he defends like 5 points after he loses the munich points this week. And Lubijic will not reach QF in the other clay events, unless he gets a favorable draw again.

He defends the QF of RG and WIBMLEDON. On the other way Ljubo defends nothing there. Nalbi will not overtake him for sure :o

I said the next 2 weeks, besides Nalbandian will probably go farther this year in RG because he will be ranked top 4 so he will avoid federer and nadal till semis. ANd he wont lose againt to Hanescu...

Ljubo will also go in the 2nd week of RG. I can bet on that ;)

Congrats Ljubo! He did very well at Monte Carlo, whether he reaches 2nd week at RG depends also on the draw, he might but it is not very likely.

#3 seems too high for him. He still hasnt performed in Grand Slams where it counts, and not won a Masters Series.

it's just no 3 and not no one...it's so close behind 1 and 2...really doesn't matter where he is ranked..

Congrats to him. Now he needs to prove it when it counts.

Not only does he not own a Masters Series Title, he has just one GS QF, this year's AO. Besides that he has never been past the third round in a Slam. :tape:
