Why is Gaudio such a lazy prick?

Why does Gaudio never try at all when he falls behind in matches, is he just too lazy who's satisfied because he's won RG and doesn't have to do anything else? He should be ashamed of himself. He doesn't try on hardcourts and never turns up to play the grass court season either. Stupid dick.

"I think that always myself is my worst opponent. I always playing against myself first and then to the other one. So I'm playing against two guys during the match...It's like mentally I don't know what is gonna happen in the next ten minutes. Maybe I get depressed in ten minutes. I don't know myself too much...Yeah, I was working with a psychology, and I still." -- Gaston Gaudio.

Actually reports say this is true. Maybe lugging all that around and meeting it's needs is what gets him distracted. :)

Sure, the game is secondary. The most important thing is to have some assets that can send MTF members into a collective orgasm.

Was he lazy in the French Open final in 2004, after dropping the first two sets 0-6, 3-6?

The more important question here is, "Why would anybody care if Gaudio is lazy or not?" He's done more than your sorry ass has done anyway.

I'm not going to analyze Gaudio... I guess his psychologist will do that...

Yesterday he wasn't lazy at all.The score in last sets sucked but he played better than the score reflected.

No he didn't...

Nadal didn't have to do much to win those last two sets.

Gaston has always been a headcase. The thing is u can be a headcase when ur talented. Plus hes handsome, rich, has a hottie GF, has won the FO and plays tennis for a living, u can't beat that.

lazy is not the word!!!! considering how much he struggles with himself i think he's already had a great career.

Yeah, it really doesn't make Gaudio a dick if he is lazy. Which frankly, I 100% disagree with.

Gaudio appears to have a laissez-faire attitude on court which some will find frustrating.

He is one of those...

'Love him or hate him.'

At least he provokes a reaction in people. Personally I admire the obvious talent. Aside from that, no real view either way. Don't think he will ever win another Grand Slam but he will continue to have a very good career.

went to the qualifying in MOnte Caro and the first few days - and the player I saw most on the practice courts? Gaudio - so he's not lazy. He really put effort into his sessions.

Gaston is anything but lazy. He's only a guy who needs MUUUUUUUUUUUCH support and encouragement when he is on the court playing his matches. That's all.

It seems that some people are still struggling with the fact he has been a top 10 for almost 2 years.

I also think he has amazing looking legs. His ankles are so narrow, I always expect his feet to snap off when he runs after a ball.

And an amazing one-handed backhand...when he's in a good day, he may be one of the most spectacular players to watch...

Yes, he has had a great career. A grand slam winner. Lazy is not the word. The word is LUCKY. He only won that French open title because Coria got injured and, although he is a good player, i dont think he'll win another grand slam (or ever would have if Guille hadnt got cramp) unless of course he gets really lucky again.
