:o :o :o I've never seen anything like that before..........Has Coria changed some technique in his game that is causing these DFs?? Because, this is rediculous coming from a top 10 player.........

The thing is - when he actually gets a 2nd serve in, he wins the vast majority of the points, which is just fascinating to me. If you take out his DFs today, he's 10/17 on those 2nd serve points and he had similar numbers yesterday.

It's just so bizarre. as the commentators were saying.... my god just do it underhand to get it in play or something

Agree......... I think one of the commentators just said maybe he should ask Keifer to serve for the entire match......he's more likely to win that way

Seriously, though, there nothing funny about this performance..... It's quite horrid and I feel so terrible for Coria...........this is so embarrassing.... And when he does get into rallies on Keifer's serve, he plays some very nice points..........

Are you sure it's hard court tennis you want to see?? Or could it be that you're missing Baghdatis   ;)

Maybe both. But i think the most enjoyable surface is hardcourt. And missing baghdatis is the same as missing Camille too :worship:

Is he missing wide or is he netting the thing all the time? He could do it underarm with some tricky dropshots:haha:

Alright people, what will the final count of DF's be at the end of the match, will he crack the 30?

I say 30.

Don't know about the double faults - but this is one of the funniest tennis matches I have ever seen :p Two of the most difficult and obnoxious players on the circuit up against each other  with the requisite amount of evil stares and threatening body language and calling for the Umpire to check lines every 5 minutes!!!!!

I think we're seeing history in the making.

What's more, I bet my ass no other player in history has ever made 20+ DF's in two three-setters in a row.

This shall be called "the double double double" :haha:

The commentator just said Coria has already made history. 22 was the number to beat and Coria is at 23  Like another one of the commentators just said, this is better than reality tv, heck it's a soap opera..........

Well, he sucks on clay  so if he was able to win a set, it was because of Coria

The comentators noticed that Coria lowers his head at the moment of impact resulting in a false serve............ I think he is hunting powerful serves but he gets Double Faults. It might also be a problem in his head.

Unlike Dent the guy Double faults but no aces nor service winners.........poor guy :haha:
Dent can fire 3 aces to get 40-love up then double faults to get broken.....Very soon Coria will be doing 5 doublefaults while 40-love up.........so heart breaking!
