If Federer plays against Nadal just like he played today, he'll have no problem in winning the tournament.

Wow, I expected Roger to prevail over Beto but I did not expect a beatdown. Was Roger being Roger or did Beto just fold?

PS: What happened to this site?

ice cold performance from roger.

That is why I call him Ninja, no feeling just sick thinking in his head. I hope he can play like that a few more times in this event.

Really, would it be possible for people to just refer to player's names rather than lame nick names in the thread title?

Well done, Roger.

If you say "pretty please" I will take it into consideration. :p

Jeez, how many bagels is that for Roger this year? I think he has more this year than all of last year.

Dirk

Roger has seven bagels this year.

Roger was awesome today, everything just clicked and he demolished Martin. Of course, Martin could have played much better, but wouldn't make much difference, I think.

Keep it up, Rogi! Good luck against Balleret (who?)

Roger has seven bagels this year.

Yes, and that's more than he had in all of 2005 (five, I guess).

the nickname is right on. Though ever since I read this 20 questions with roger article/interview a few weeks ago, in which he said that his mind wanders occasionally during matches, I couldn't help but think he was putting together an outfit to wear for dinner in his head during the match. ("no, maybe the levi's jeans and the Gucci shirt. Or maybe versace???? Regardless, definitely the black prada shoes. mm, I wonder what Mirka thinks. Who is she talking to on the phone? I should call mom tonight. Damn, I'm hungry.")

Martin won 35% FS points. Damn.

No BP allowed for Federer. Exceptional.

It is like this with Roger.... get tested in the tournament, and he straightens up & focuses very well for the next match.
Great win, against a very good clay court player

No BP allowed for Federer. Exceptional. And I think his 1st serve % was over 60% too. Rogi was pissed with his R1 performance and took it out on poor Martin.

I missed the game, but what a scoreline. Was Fed just playing amazing, and Martin couldn't beat him even at his best? Or was it Fed playing good/ amazing/ okay, and Martin playing terrible. I need a match description.

Schnyder a lefty, JHH a one handed backhand. James Blake has a one handed backhand though, doesn't he? But it doesn't seem to bother him (as much).

vamos Alberto! Avoided the double bagel. Ever since this years Aus Open I have a soft spot for him, so this was particularly cruel . (but nice work by Roger, all the same ;))
