Natasha250688 04-21-2006, 07:59 PM Good luck, but knowing his luck he's gonna draw Nadal... I just wish he gets a decent draw so he could actually play more than 3 sets cos that's not enough for my weekly dose of him  savesthedizzle 04-21-2006, 08:00 PM Good luck, but knowing his luck he's gonna draw Nadal... I just wish he gets a decent draw so he could actually play more than 3 sets cos that's not enough for my weekly dose of him  Don't say that!!! Whenever we even MENTION the worst case scenario, he gets it. Example: "Oh wouldn't it be awful to get Switzerland in Davis Cup." "Oh it would suck to draw Roger in the first round." :rolls: We can't even THINK such thoughts anymore! Natasha250688 04-21-2006, 08:03 PM We can't even THINK such thoughts anymore! says the queen of pessimism :p Saumon 04-21-2006, 08:06 PM  Jiat and I asked Ali (NINA BCN) to take pictures! :p savesthedizzle 04-21-2006, 08:07 PM says the queen of pessimism :p I get pessimistic AFTER I see the draw :p NINA_BCN 04-21-2006, 08:09 PM The draw will be out tomorrow. ;) Don't worry Jiat. I hope Nole will have good draw (Federer plays excellent in MC, he had problems only with Nole) and that he can make something big there... AJDE!!! Natasha250688 04-22-2006, 11:46 AM main draw (http://www.atptennis.com/en/common/TrackIt.asp?file=/posting/2006/425/MDS.pdf) What did I say? Vinnay is the coolest American player since he carries wildlife in his hair, that makes him like an eco-warrior hero. ;) Plus, we all know you're half Serbian and half English and only study in the states due to the saturation of Starbucks stores :p uglyamerican 04-22-2006, 07:30 PM Novak is going to break Nadal's streak. It will be lovely ;) Okay then. This time you be optimistic and I'll be pessimistic, and we'll see what happens. The fates will owe Nole good draws for the summer slams. savesthedizzle 04-22-2006, 07:31 PM Um Jess. Vinnay is the coolest American player since he carries wildlife in his hair, that makes him like an eco-warrior hero. ;) Plus, we all know you're half Serbian and half English and only study in the states due to the saturation of Starbucks stores :p There are PLENTY of Starbucks in central London :p On the rare occasion when I would walk to school instead of tube-ing it. I think I passed at least 4. ;) Someone new from MTF contacted me yesterday on MSN and his first words to me are, "So how's life in Serbia?" and I'm just like "No clue, but I can tell you how life in New York is!" Or someone else from MTF once IM-ed me before the DC tie against Israel and asked if I was going to the tie, and I was like no, and they were like "Is it a long flight from England?" and I'm like "Probably, but a lot longer from New York." It's not like I'm the only person on MTF to not use their correct flag! I think it would freak people out if I put the US flag up. savesthedizzle 04-22-2006, 07:32 PM Okay then. This time you be optimistic and I'll be pessimistic, and we'll see what happens. The fates will owe Nole good draws for the summer slams. Haha. :yeah: Yes they will. Preferably a beautiful draw in Toronto when I'm there the whole week to scream AJDE at him. Actually that will be a huge motivation factor. He doesn't want to see me angry. MissFairy 04-22-2006, 07:35 PM There are PLENTY of Starbucks in central London :p On the rare occasion when I would walk to school instead of tube-ing it. Awww! Then you should move here. Like, now. Thanks. (: Hahahaha how is it that they think that you're everything BUT American? I never forget you are, but it would be so strange to see that flag up against your name. I would be like...UH. What's going on?! It's specific but so wrong haha. Me? Like American players? Surely not. I only like Andy, James, Mardy, Bob and Mike...that's not ALL of them at least  savesthedizzle 04-22-2006, 07:59 PM Hahaha wow, they put ALOT of thought into that, and still came out wrong  The German thing made me laugh, i don't know why. You and Tim Westwood with your ghetto speak :p He seems like a nice guy, but i don't particularly feel the desire to cheer him on. RESPECK fo' standing by your fellow New Jersey-er! I would do that with Tim Henman but since he grew up in some mansion in Oxford or some place, i doubt we have much in common  Saumon 04-22-2006, 08:16 PM I like Justin just because he and I shared a fun moment in Montreal. what happened? :p NINA_BCN 04-22-2006, 08:17 PM what happened? :p Fish, dear, I think it's time for a wild party. ;) savesthedizzle 04-22-2006, 08:36 PM what happened? :p Becca and I were sitting watching him practice last summer in Montreal. We were actually waiting for Novak, but he never showed up. Anyway, these two weird girls come up and are like "YO JUSTIN! We're from NEW YORK!" and he's like "Erm, ok. Hi." No one else is around except me, Becca, Justin and these girls. Anyway they're like draped with Spanish flags and whatnot and are like "DO YOU KNOW WHERE VINCE IS?" and he's like "Vince? Vince SPADEA?" and they're like "Yeah, where is he?!" and Justin looks at me and Becca because we are like fighting to hold back giggles at how odd this interaction is and he gives us this like that is like, "WTF?" and he's like "I have no clue where Vince is." Anyway, he stopped practicing and went to talk to them later, and was pretty nice to them and stuff... but it was an odd moment. I also saw him when I was eating dinner at Montreal, he was in the same bar/restaurant :p But this is an old story. I look forward to more odd moments involving Justin and Vince Spadea in the future. Ideally not with weird girls from New York though :p savesthedizzle 04-22-2006, 08:38 PM Hahaha i have heard REPRESENT twice today and like, never really before. I was even going to be Lithuanian for a bit, just to change it up, and since I am a portion Lithuanian, it's not completely random.. lol.. but it looked so WEIRD. And then I got worried that since I play Tennis Tipping it lists me as playing for SCG and I didn't want that to change. savesthedizzle 04-23-2006, 04:39 PM The qualifiers have been placed, and Novak will play against Spaniard Daniel Gimeno-Traver in the first round. Gimeno-Traver is a 20-year-old right hander from Valencia, Spain currently ranked 181 in the world. Their match is the fourth match on Court 3. Play begins on that court at 10:45 a.m. local time. ;) MissFairy 04-23-2006, 05:09 PM  Yes.
