If I could I'd go down there, but there's a little band called Fall Out Boy who would rather see me. Sorry Kiwi... I SEND KIWI HAPPY THOUGHTS! kiwiteami 03-18-2006, 03:53 AM Ok it is late and I just arrived from california so this message will be short but i will write everything that has happenned in indian wells tomorrow. You want to know where Nicolas is? i will tell you.I got to the airport this morning following an ATP car..who do I see..no way in hell..YES Nicolas.I mean others stayed too after they lost BUT they practiced,he didn't.I was going to my gate when I heard HEY.I turned around, there he was with Sasha, who was carrying all their luggages! lol.So I told him that I was surprised to see him and he asked me why I had to go back home for 2 days.I said to pick up my aunt and I will be there on monday. He smiled and said ok i see you there but don't bring cold weather with you.I later saw him at gate 2,he was reading a book.So he is NOW in miami.ok i am tired.I did my best to cheer for him.Mathieu was just too good.Too bad cause he had practiced a lot.I had a great time and will write more tomorrow. bye kiwiteami 03-19-2006, 01:47 AM ok here I go.I arrived in indian wells pretty late on march 7th with a broken luggage,i wasn't too happy plus my sidekick is now dead.Karen,i lost your phone number, you need to email it to me on my aol email.Anyway on march 8th,i got there early.at 9am,there he was jogging shirtless.I got closer and he finally saw me,smiled and said hi and that he would talk to me after his practice. He was practicing with..Safin.Lots of people of course because of Safin. At some point Safin screamed at Nicolas:hey Kiefer why are you hitting so hard this early? Nicolas, not finding this funny at all said:just hit the ball so i said to Nicolas,it is called a practice! Nicolas smiled. After an hour,Nicolas left, people asked for autographs and he was like..get out of my way.I was waiting in a corner and he joined me and we talked. On march 9th,it was cold..so cold.at 9am he was strenghing. He then went to practice with an italian player.I met his wife and kids. They have a 2 years old son and he was hitting the ball already.I was playing with him and Nicolas was like..what is she doing? lol. So i told him,you have a champion right here.lol.Nicolas on that day had like 3 sweaters on,some said that he looked like crap.He practiced 2 hours.March 10th,he practiced again with Sasha. On march 11th,it was raining,so i went shopping with a friend,i got a new luggage. On march 12th i got there at 9am,he was already practicing.I had on my italian soccer vest on.he looked at me and he said i don't like that sweater.lol.then he got mad, screamed at Sasha and hit the water cooler..and broke it.he then after went jogging for 30 minutes.on march 13th,i got up knowing that he was going to lose.At 9am he was on court no2 practicing.i was coughing and he stopped practicing, asking if i was fine.lol.i was there first row to see him lose.he didn't fight at all.Sasha was near me,he was screaming during 3 hours.lol.after the match,Janine had to pick up his clothes on court cause he had forgotten everything.that is basically what happenned at the tournament.he is now in miami.i will let you know that is going on there by computer cause they have some computers at the tournament. Neely 03-19-2006, 01:00 PM Thanks Karine for the update :yeah: Lets hope he has a good preparation for Miami :( kiwiteami 03-19-2006, 07:05 PM Thanks Karine for the update :yeah: Lets hope he has a good preparation for Miami :( No problem.I am leaving at 3am tonight for miami. He is staying at the same hotel as me so I will get the chance to see him more often and talk to him.Plus we usually have breakfast at the same time.He doesn't like miami too much,at least not as much as Indian wells. He doesn't like the nightlife too much.I will try my best to cheer him up.He has to do something in miami at least! I hope that I can get a computer there. bye I♥PsY@Mus!c 03-20-2006, 10:11 AM All the best Kiwi! ;) bavaria100 03-20-2006, 08:14 PM Good luck Kiwi! I mean, he's the one who is upset about the calls on the court all the time and some replays showed that he was wrong on some calls which he argued in his own field. And he's a professional who practises or plays almost every day, so you could guess he has enough experience and his eye is well-trained enough. But still mistakes do happen. And I don't think that putting the money in the training of the line umpires, how he suggests it, would solve the problem. Some things are just unbelievably hard to see and very hard to decide, whether a few millimeters of the balls caught the line or not, and this all with the speed of today's game. So why not let the technology help you? I welcome it and I hope it works fine. Tennisqueen 03-23-2006, 05:05 PM I thought he said at Hopman Cup, that he liked it? So I'm very surprised about this entry, too... tennisball 03-23-2006, 05:45 PM Disputing line calls is a big part of his game, I am not surprised that he doesn't like it. What a nerve-racking match! First he blows his 4-2 lead in the 3rd set, then he needs 5 break points to get that break. But this was the match he needed to win. Now he's the favourite in his eighth or even in his quarter. But the next match against Gonzalez won't be much different I fear. :tape: 7-6(4) 2-6 6-4 :worship: JMG 03-24-2006, 10:33 PM http://www.world-of-smilies.com/html/images/smilies/flaggen/fahne10.gif (http://www.World-of-Smilies.com) Neely 03-24-2006, 10:54 PM First I'm glad that he won!!! So celebration :woohoo: :bounce: :woohoo: haha, when looking at his next opponent with Gonzalez, I fear that Gonzalez could have one of these very good days again where he hits almost every shot. On the other side, Gonzalez also gives some hope that he could have a bad day as it is safe to say that he's not the most consistent going around for sure ;) Neely 03-24-2006, 10:57 PM http://www.world-of-smilies.com/html/images/smilies/flaggen/fahne10.gif (http://www.World-of-Smilies.com) haha, was ist das denn für eine Flagge? einfach willkürlich oder bedeutet sie tatsächlich etwas? kfh_9118 03-25-2006, 02:05 AM not a very convincing scorelines, but a win is still a win :yeah: well done, Kiwi :) Good luck next round, and please fight hard, considering Rafael has lost  knight_ley 03-25-2006, 05:47 AM WOOT! :woohoo: rrfnpump 03-25-2006, 07:54 AM well done :yeah: JMG 03-25-2006, 09:14 AM haha, was ist das denn für eine Flagge? einfach willkürlich oder bedeutet sie tatsächlich etwas? Neely 03-26-2006, 11:55 PM Kiwi def. Gonzo 6-2 3-6 7-5 :bounce: :woohoo: I only followed the scoreboard while watching TV (unfortunately I couldn't watch Kiwi's match), but it was a typical roller-coaster from Kiwi again. My mood was like: 1st set: cool, Kiwi is really hot today, Gonzo must be hitting crazy with so many unforced errors, I'm quite positive this could be a two set match for Kiwi. 2nd set: oh fuck, he lost focus now since the middle of the set, I hope he wins in three 3rd set: damn, he's down a break early... damn, he's down *1-3 and 0-40, hopeless! but he saved this situation and another three breakpoints of Gonzo in the third set, at least he stays in the match.... he breaks back, yeah! 7th game: Kiwi has 40-0, damn, he blows the lead and drops serve! ... Gonzalez serving for the match, 30-30, 30-40, do it Kiwi! no. ad Kiwi, do it now! noooo. ad Kiwi, finally he breaks back! And this all with a happy end to win 7-5 in the third! Good attitude, Kiwi! :D :yeah: That's what we want to see!!!! Neely 03-27-2006, 12:29 AM BTW... if somebody was so lucky to watch the match, then don't hold back on any impressions or recaps to give a rough overview what happened and how they both played ;) liptea 03-27-2006, 12:48 AM woohoo!! knight_ley 03-27-2006, 02:49 AM :woohoo: kfh_9118 03-27-2006, 05:13 AM great fight, Kiwi :) The draw is open up for him, hope he can make the best use of it  JMG 03-27-2006, 06:32 AM Unbelievable win! I couldn't see a stream, I only heard the sound of the match for maybe 3 minutes and there was loud cheering for Gonzalez all the time. I'm sure this was as good as the Clement match last year. Now one must-win to come, he shouldn't lose to Calleri. :yeah: http://www.smiliegenerator.de/smiley-flag/smiley-21234.png rrfnpump 03-27-2006, 06:58 AM great win and good fight again :) :yeah: but one shouldnt underestimate Calleri go Kiwi :woohoo: I♥PsY@Mus!c 03-27-2006, 09:45 AM Feña served df and missed one shot at *5-4 40-40,then I know Kiwi would win because Feña is a short-tempered player. Kiwi's last serve was very good,so he needed not to play that many rallies to hold in love or 40-15! :yeah: Then in Feña's last serve,Kiwi didn't hit that fast in every shot, when Feña forced him,he ran fast and just played a high bounced ball to wait for his ue like Nadal, then Feña netted the ball. I just hate this draw, too many players I like in the same 1/4 draw, :shout: but he deserves to win.Good luck in the next match! :rocker2: Saturn66 03-27-2006, 10:10 AM Great win for Kiefer! Alexiana 03-27-2006, 10:35 AM Kiwi :yeah: Keep that good work up :wavey: oLn 03-27-2006, 10:49 AM Great win ! =) Alexiana 03-27-2006, 11:14 AM BTW... if somebody was so lucky to watch the match, then don't hold back on any impressions or recaps to give a rough overview what happened and how they both played ;) Someone recorded the match and put highlights in the Torrent thread in GM as a winamp file :) They are great Neely 03-27-2006, 11:16 AM but one shouldnt underestimate Calleri Yeah, that's the problem I'm afraid of. Calleri is like a surprise box, at best times he was always good for a few very good matches that made it very hard for his opponents to beat him, or almost unbeatable. But I don't think that Calleri is currently capable of doing this, so we have to see how Kiwi likes his game and how Kiwi plays himself. Neely 03-27-2006, 11:26 AM Someone recorded the match and put highlights in the Torrent thread in GM as a winamp file :) They are great Oh thanks for the notification about that, I hardly read this thread, so I would not have noticed it without you :) bavaria100 03-27-2006, 01:03 PM Well done Kiwi! :rocker: I hope that he can keep it up in his next match. The gap currently is just 50 points to #10 (Agassi). One more win would be worth 50 points and this could close the gap to Agassi. (and it depends upon the others remaining in the tournament, like Stepanek for example). Neely 03-28-2006, 04:13 PM Ljubicic has beaten Rochus easily and quickly. Now Kiwi is soon on the court! GOOD LUCK!!!!! Kiwi7 03-28-2006, 06:49 PM OH NO!!! :bigcry: Calleri stopped him. has anyone seen the match? when I last looked at the scores he was leading in the 3rd set. i just really can't believe he lost it. Neely 03-28-2006, 06:57 PM Kiwi lost to Calleri 6-3 3-6 5-7 :( obviously he decided to give us not more wins this week ;) I'm sure he would have liked to do it otherwise, if possible, sometimes you just can't and something stops you OH NO!!! :bigcry: Calleri stopped him. has anyone seen the match? when I last looked at the scores he was leading in the 3rd set. i just really can't believe he lost it. He wasn't up a break in the third set. And he seemed to play a really very pathetic service game at *5-6 with two double faults and two stupid errors to be broken at love. rrfnpump 03-28-2006, 07:00 PM  oLn 03-28-2006, 09:19 PM i saw the game... kiefer played vGood in 1st set ! but in the end of the 1st set was bit nervous... dont know why ! looked that he lost his confidence... calleri played better and won the two next sets ! Depending on Ancic's next match, Kiwi should be #14 or #15 after this week. Let's see what he can do on the clay courts. kiwiteami 04-01-2006, 11:05 PM Well i am back.I already have a cold here.i am not made to stay in montreal.lol.anyway i am sorry but this year no computers in miami.i was surprised by that.anyway,i am now going to resume what went on in miami.of course i am writing what i can cause i have to respect his private life.so i arrive on monday 20th and i saw him late and he did a scene at the reception.he was mad,i don't know why so i was like not tonight.he left with sasha.the next day i saw him,he hugged and kissed me.we talked for a while about how he had a terrible draw and other stuff.the next day i had breakfast with him, like each day after.i introfuced him to my aunt.i was nervous that, how he was going to act.well all week he was adorable with her, even helping her orderring breakfast because she only speaks french.i saw him almost each night at starbucks.i was at all his practices.even one day,i was like where are you going? He said to grab his bag and follow.during one practice,he stopped and sasha was like what? There was a huge reptile on court and hrbaty was chasing it around the court, nicolas was scared.lol.nicolas signed autographs and took pics all week long,he was nice.his matches were intense.sasha didn't like me at first.i told nicolas and then sasha changed, even tried to say words in french.lol.once we were in the elevator,he was eating an ice cream and he told me to stop shopping.i was like..what? Me? Lol.he left on thursday,we said our goodbyes.it was sad but he was so happy to go back home.we talked about the world cup and his car came.i thanked him for a great month.that was that.now back in hell.if someone has question please email me.this is a short resume.
