Clement played here last year before losing in 3 sets to the future winner Puerta.
Very nice line up this year. All 23 players admitted directly to main draw are in the Top 100. I hope there won't be too many withdrawals.
Good opportunity for Younes El Aynaoui to bounce back: he'll probably get a wild card as well as the winner of the Moroccan championships in which Arazi, Tahiri, El Aarej, Ziadi, Idmbarek, Amrani, Saber, Talal, El Alaoui, and Chaki are playing after Morocco F4.

I'm not a Murray fan at all, but he did train on clay in Span for several years and he says it is his favourite surface - so I think he could give them all a good run for their money, though I think someone with Massu's experience would prove too strong for him in the long run.

Second wild card to African Cup champion: Lamine Ouahab from Algeria.
Only one wild card left: they should give it to Younes El Aynaoui.
He's the best Moroccan tennis player ever and he's far from being bad in 2006.
a win in Doha against Grosjean and another one in Dubai against Moodies and lately a quarter final in the the St Brieuc Challenger.
And Younes is playing in Morocco F5 the week before the Casablanca ATP.
Please WC to Younes.

Saretta didn't recover from his injury. It allows him to play, but bothers him when he serves. Too bad, no Brazilians in this tournament. Flavio and Marcos, hopefully, will be in Estoril next week.

When you write that :

"Casablanca (Both SE spots cleared)
OUT: Benneteau, Daniel, Sanguinetti, Saretta, Serra, Soderling (and Starace, Sluiter, N.Lapentti, Vicente, Massa from ALT)
IN: Waske, Mahut, Behrend, Tipsarevic, Vanek, Patience, Marach, O.Hernandez
NEXT: Berrer, Kunitsyn, Zabaleta, Koubek, Ascione, Mazarakis, Gicquel"

does that mean that Nicolas MAHUT is on the main draw ????? I don't understand

It means that he got a direct entry. If Mahut doesn't withdraw from the list, he will be in MD.
