Ron/Hermione shippers = no good. Harry/Hermione all the way.

 I'm exactly the same!!!! I'm crapping my pants in excitement for the new book, but in a way, I don't really want it to come out because then I know it'll be THE END. Plus, I'm facing a massive dilemma: do I take my time in reading it because it's the last time I'll be able to read it for the first time, or do I take my time but run the risk of overhearing the deaths/plot twists as I walk around school? So hard to decide!!!

Very random but does anyone know if you can stop your computer (I run XP Professional) from making backup files of everything? And if so, how?? The doubles of everything is so irritating

I know! I have the same problem!! I couldn't slow down if I tried though. I read those books in a day. But I can just tell it's going to be so depressing. Please someone tell me when they went from being fun and happy (mostly) to being therapy-inducing :sobbing:. I can't take all the deaths :scared:.

Try following these steps and shutting it off:
1. Click Start, and point to All Programs.

2. Point to Accessories, and then point to System Tools.

3. Click Backup.

I. Love. You. (:

I'm such a big H/Hr shipper that I think I partially disliked the 6th book because of the stupid R/Hr and H/G plot lines :sobbing: And also cause it felt like a filler.

 I'm exactly the same!!!! I'm crapping my pants in excitement for the new book, but in a way, I don't really want it to come out because then I know it'll be THE END. My problem too. I think I'm going to just hole myself up in my room and read it in a day because I know that if I prolong it, I'm going to find out about the end of the book. A lot of people know I love the book and they would get the book and read the last bit and tell me what happened just to ruin it. Talk about immature, no? It's sad that I can't like fully enjoy the last book because other people would ruin the experience for me *sigh*

I love Harry Potter. I don't like the films though (although I've only seen the 1st one, it was ok but I prefer the version in my head! ;)) I am soooo excited about the book, but I just hope I am not disappointed with it. If Harry dies, I will be so angry! and I really want Dumbledore to come back to life, I still refuse to accept that he died in the first place. :awww:

Despite having absolutely nothing to do with the Gstaad tournament, we have "decided" to profile TT doubles legend Tytta.

:singer:

Tytta

http://www.menstennisforums.com/customavatars/avatar5310_71.gif

Real name: Renata
Age: 19
Nationality: Brasilian
Nicknames: Re, Renatinha, and Barbie.
Current Residence: Looking for Andy's forehand with Sarah and Deb. If you find it somewhere, please PM me.
Marital Status: Unmarried, though isn't short of date requests.
TT Singles Ranking: 148
TT Doubles Ranking: 65
TT Career Highlight: 2007 TMS Miami Doubles Winner (With Deboogle!.)
Favourite ATP Players: Andy Roddick, Mathieu Montcourt, and the Bryan brothers.
Best Friend On Tour: Deboogle!.
Favourite Colour: Pink
Life Ambition: For adee-gee and Deboogle!. to come to Brasil.
Favourite Song: Barbie Girl by Aqua
Favourite Quote: ":hearts:"
Last Year Gstaad Performance: Did not play.
Tournament Odds: N/A

Summary: The beautiful young Brasilian is known as the diva of the TT tour because of her outrageous demands (the latest being this profile), but has been able to justify it with some outstanding displays, mainly in doubles with her twin sister Deboogle!. These days, it is rare to see players who are more interested in doubles than singles, but Tytta is one who bucks the trend. Inspired by playing Barbie Girl at the change of ends, the wonderful twins achieved unparalleled success earlier this year when they reached back to back Masters Series finals, winning in Miami and coming within a whisker of winning Indian Wells. With a smile to light up even a rainy day at Wimbledon, Tytta has been a breath of fresh air on the tour and is loved by fans worldwide. In a few weeks, twin sister Deboogle!. will be taking some time away from the tour, and Tytta will be teaming up with adee-gee in a partnership which is likely to rival the Jankovic/Murray one in terms of levels of flirting.

how was the wedding Deb? :) do we get to see pics of you in your pretty dress soon? :pIt was nice, thanks :) I mean, it was a Texas wedding, a smaller-town texas wedding at that, so it was interesting  The reception (party) was pretty, well, lame. People started leaving and then my friend and her new husband were like "I guess we should leave now" and the party had only gone on for about 2 hours. The group of us from school were the only ones who were even dancing most of the time, and the food was edible and not much more... I'd be horribly disappointed if that was my own wedding but I don't think my friend cared. It all seemed to go off without a hitch though, so I guess that's what matters. But as my mom said.... it wasn't a Jewish wedding, and that explains it:haha: :haha:

I took a bunch of pics and a lot of them didn't come out well (I used my mom's camera for the first time b/c I wanna get used to it for my trip and some of the people i gave my camera to to take pictures managed to get blurry pictures of non-moving people  ), but I will go through them sometime when I get a chance (really need to catch up on studying and failing miserably :banghead: ). It was really really great to see some of my best friends from college, that was the best part for me. For a day or so, I felt like I was back 3 years ago and those were the best times of my life so it was just really nice for me :)

I. Love. You. (:

I'm such a big H/Hr shipper that I think I partially disliked the 6th book because of the stupid R/Hr and H/G plot lines :sobbing: And also cause it felt like a filler.

:D

I almost ship Dan and Emma in real life more, they're so in teen-love it's not even funny.

I have to avoid the internet till I'm done. The dumbest thing is like what happened with the 6th book, when these guys drove by a bookstore packed with people waiting to buy it on the first night and yelled out who killed Dumbledore . That's just plain mean. I'll be done really fast if I have the time to sit and read it. Everyone who reads it fast must pm me to discuss and commiserate over the deaths .

Heyheyhey! :ras: Stop knowing me too well! :ras: (;

So today at volunteering, this old lady got pissed off at me and my friend and another worker and stormed out when we were "goofing off" during art time. Sadly it's pretty frequent behavior from her and she won't remember anything tomorrow. Great way to start my first day, lol, but thankfully no one blamed us.

Al + Godfather = Love forever :inlove: :inlove:

What kind of volunteering do you do? I'm working at a camp I've been volunteering at for 5 years, now I finally get paid. I'm thinking I'll have a lot of kids who read the book and try to ruin it for the others. I'm going to have to lay the smackdown on HP discussion :boxing:

:hearts: I watched all 3 movies in my film appreciation class last year and fell in love with Al and The Godfather :hearts:

I volunteer at a home about like 7 minutes away from my house. Honestly, there are about 10 homes around me so I could've picked any of them but my friend said to do it with her and I need volunteer hours for school anyway so it didn't matter lol. I mostly worked with people that had Alzheimer's today because they were on the second floor and so was I. It's hard because some people can't talk much, or it's a bunch of gibberish, and it's really sad as well but I think I need to deal with the hard/sad stuff if I want to be a genetic counselor (2 different things but I need coping with hard situations with other people and experience in anything is good). I could work, but I don't really want to

Wear earplugs...that should block all them out ;)

Aw that's nice of you to volunteer there :). That's tough to deal with though. It's really hard to see someone with Alzheimer's.

I listen to a lot of gibberish by taking care of kids too :tape:

When you said there were 10 homes around you I thought 'she must live in Florida'

Can we do it by pms or something? because I don't want to have it spoilt for me and I'm really busy at the moment so I'm not sure how quickly I'm going to be able to read it! :sobbing: I have managed to not get any of the other books spoilt and I don't want it to change for he last one! Thank you!

I agree. Let's not talk about it because it will spoil it for Jo. And the fact that it sucks :bolt:

I will be picking my book up from A&R before I start work. I am so excited, but kinda wish I didn't have to work that day, but it will be extra shopping money for my weekend trip in August.

Edited to say: That was non spoilerish! Just a 'Yay I am getting the book from a shop!' post. I have my slip to pick it up here already! I am going to keep it as a keepsake as I am a geek.

I was sitting innocently in class one day and my friend turned around and just was like 'isn't it so sad about Sirius?' and i was like 'HUH?!'. Then i throttled her. The end.

I would have KILLED someone. I had Cedric ruined for me so from that point on I don't talk to ANYONE or chat with anyone online or go on my livejournal or anywhere basically till I'm done reading it. I just become a hermit to the world till it's done. So I'm never online the weekend it comes out cuz I'm reading my ass off to get it done in like 24 hours .

Ok Deb...question for you.

Say my AC is broken. A friend of my dad's comes over and fixes it. For some reason they go into the attic to get stuff or something. Soon, the guy's foot is sticking out of the ceiling and there is a hole up there because the ceiling is now broken lol. Should he pay for the repairs?

Deboogle!.
07-11-2007, 02:49 AM
LOL unm wow. well I think it depends on whose fault it is. If the guy was stupid and somehow stuck his foot through, then yes. If it happened because the floor was weak or something unforeseeable or something, then no..... i dunno it would depend i think |:
