Nadal less muscular this season?

Is it just me or does Rafael have less muscles than last year? I think he is quite a lot slimmer than last year and not as impressive as he used to be (still way above the others though).

What do you think?

He probably has a girlfriend now which would result in less whacking off...

but anyways...who cares?

If I recall correctly, I think that he and his camp wanted him to lose some weight because less weight may make him less prone to injuries.

He does look a little slimmer- although his left bicep is still nuts when it is flexed.

:haha: Yes, they told that.
I wouldn't say he's a LOT slimmer but he's lost some weight yes. His arms look just fine now. :)

Your enthusiasm for mr. Piggy is cute but is it possible to limit your pig & bacon drooling comments to the thread started for it? It is your thread, isn't it?
You even polluted the oaf/loaf thread with them.

He has probably been doing less weights and more recovery for his injury.

Less muscular has advantages too, that he is lighter and quicker to move. When he has still the right muscles in right place, he should be well and continue ownership over Federer.

i watched nadal 3 times after his comeback
against rochus, against clement and against henman
he can´t beat roger with that level, and i doubt that he can lift it much higher at this moment
roger is too good for him right now, and he will beat him if that match happens

okay, maybe he does not beat Federer this week
but I hope on clay he will do again

(great avatar with Kostelic, BTW. Saw her medal winning races in Olympics - very good racer)

Yes, I like to vary my diet- I also like my potato and duck with lots of gravy, however I haven't really developed a taste for sinewy weasel :tape:

I asked Rafa in the press conference and he did not think he was any less muscular. In fact to roars of approval his flexed his left biceps to prove his point!
