Haha, Stepanek deserved that for the way he acted during the game and for being a complete jerk.

WD Timmy, Nadal is tasty quarter final :)

Screaming, glancing trying to wind Henman up and generally being a twat.

It's good that Henman will get a crack at Nadal, having never met before it promises to be a real hum-dinger.

darn Stepanek. In his match against Davydenko he suddenly had problems with his eyes when Davydenko was about to serve for the set. He didn't had an injury time out, but it took way longer than a minute. It was only when Davydenko asked if there was an injury timeout, the ref said "time".

Henman is better on the outdoor surface. Stepper is made for indoors.

nice win by Henny

He had problems with his eyes at *5/3 first set and *5/3 third set? Give me a break...

Huh, where did you get that?
He won the thirth set and the match, his eyes were just fine then ;)

btw it was 5-4 in the first set. That's when players change sides and have a minute break. You understand?

I apologise...I jumped to conclusions. I thought you were about to justify Sexy's loss today with eye problems

I'm afraid so...

But at least he collects the points and the confidence from winning back-to-back matches over capable players ;) :bigclap:

I've got the feeling Tim is getting back a bit to his old self and that is something I'm happy about. I don't like all these retirement rumours, he had such a good 2004 and then 2005 was really disappointing. I want to see some more good results from this man before he stops playing tennis.

He stands no chance against Nadal, the back and body will be screaming after such a late match and no real time to recover before being on second on Thursday.

He lost them last week (hence fall to #49) so he gains them all back this week

He knows that he is still top 20 material and so do his fans...his wins this years show that. His issue is with his body because he can't compete day-in-day-out anymore :bigcry:

Well he stands a little chance...Nadal is a leftie and Henman has spanked lefties all his career. Nadal has also been pushed quite a lot by Stepanek and Gimelstob for example...they are serve-volleyers. But yeah...he has awesome shots from the back so he will pass Tim 90% of the time I'd think. But his serve is very attackable.

Henman is right though...he won't win the match from the back. I hope he lives (and, if he has to, dies) by charging the net at every available opportunity.
