Poor Tomas, after he lost to Stepanek @ Marseille and Dent @ Rotterdam, he was upset by Vik this time.
Congrats Robin! :yeah:

Wow good stuff

I saw Vik once against Lleyton in Melbourne, he is no pushover. Could be an interesting match against Roger.

The Bercy win is lost in a ocean of bad results for Berdych now.

It seems no match is a fun match for him nowadays.

I don't think it's the end of the world if he loses, to be honest.

Last 2.5 years have been insane, it would only make sense if a slump in form took place.

It just seems like the last couple of matches were scraped out, in a similar fashion to his AO wins.
It makes it all the more impressive to be winning through difficulties, but I can't say he seems to be having "fun" out there.

Is Vik a czech veteran or a young up and comer?

Vik is about 26 and a late bloomer...can be dangerous for Roger, but he doesn't possess a big serve.

No, but he hit some wicked groundies against Lleyton in Australia and almost beat him so if Roger is too passive as he was for many parts of today's match Vik might well do some damage.

Berdman  I hope he can string it together once the true clay season began.

Berdman....what can you say?

Vik is not bad at all and will push Federer if Federer doesn't come out gunning.

Tomas did start out a lousy 9-16 last year and turned it around so I really do expect him to start bringing it here pretty soon.

Tomas is going to have to bring more than his game if he wants to finish out 6-3 6-6 (4-1) matches.
