From bad to worse...

Alessio is a decent player on clay, but he really doesn't have many weapons.

This could be one of the most intriguing Roland Garros tournaments in a long time. The clay specialists are not performing, plus the young kids coming through can all play on the surface.

Certainly this is the biggest win of his career for Di Mauro.

(Repeated from another thread, silly me :retard:

Coria needs to take a wild card into the clay event in Houston this April.

Can you imagine Coria versus Roddick there?
Their play would probably look like neither one of them wanted to win!
It'd be a coin toss who would win.

Well Duck and Weasel are being hunted to the point of extinction right now so safety in numbers would be a step in the right direction... :tape:

I feel really bad for Guille.

He was one of the best guys on clay, and now nada.

Houston wouldn't be a bad idea - all the great clay players go to Europe. He might get some confidence.

It is completely unbelieveable what has happend to Coria. He can't even spin 2nd serves into play. It's like some weekend warrior at his club or someone out on public courts who just can't hit the ball. I'm not sure what the hell he is going to do.

 he could fall into a VOLCANO and you'd still hold a grudge of jealousy against him. you'll always wish your man was cool like him. and he never will be. jejeje....even when coria is having a breakdown. :haha: poor monkey fernando...

Any chance he's physically injured...needs shoulder surgery, or whatever? I can understand him being devastated that he basically blew his best chance to win RG, but this is really sad.

Guille just needs a little break... but he's still in the top 10 -- it's not over yet for him -- far fr it.

Ughh Guille!:banghead: Now I am not working on a freakin' site on you just to report every week that you lost while making 20 DFs (or that you lost period), so get off your butt and work on your dang serve and start winning some tourneys!!!!!

Anyway... a bit of advice for you, Guille: instead of trying to spin in a 2nd serve, just go for it. I mean it ain't like you'd be making any more DFs, and plus you might get a few more aces, which is definitely a plus!

Btw Coria, now that Perlas has gone, who┤s to blame? 17 df in 2 sets roflWhat are you referring to exactly? A lot of people are not too impressed by Perlas' work on Coria's serve, but as far as I know, Coria himself doesn't blame Perlas for his serve when he is asked about it.
Did Perlas say that Coria makes him responsible for his problems with his serve?

I MISS THE OLD CORIA  THIS IS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE.

I do too! I want the old Guille back! The one that had a serve that topped out at 115 MPH but could still hit aces, the one that lost only 2 or 3 matches on clay a year, the one that was a great player! (btw, I'm not saying Guille completely sucks or anything, but his level of play has gone down quite a bit from the 2003-2004 seasons)
