Chucho in General Messages is someone like Chuck Norris in the jokes.

OK, don't worry ;) He's a talented player from Argentina, at the age of Coria and Nalbandian (actually around 10 months younger), who had some successes at the age of 19 but then started suffering of different kind of injuries, which stopped his career. Plus he found other interests than tennis. Not exactly the sports. Now Chucho, who has skills and body building not only for clay (would you believe, he made first QF on hard at the beginning of last year), seems to be overcoming all the difficulties and showing the real talent. Peopl who don't follow him so much could have seen im on fire in last three sets against Roddick - RG 2005.
What is special about Chucho, is that he always looks like stoned, or behind the curtain of smoke.

Maybe the third one - not really crowned but in hearts of all spectators - Florian Mayer :tape: ?

By the way, 2 years ago I said: "In 2-3 years JMDP will be a Sopot king" so let's wait the few months to check... awww ;) *sorry for trolling *

do you think he'll reference his off day habits? blake said he was playing a drinking game card game one day (although supposedly w/ no booze...) i can see chucho casually throwing in what he did at 4:20

Finally...a latino player! :yeah:

It does look translated - very sweet blog. But I hope he does give us some of the behind the scenes news - that's always fun.

They s have him blog in Spanish then also have a translation into English. But I'm glad they have a non-Anglophone doing the blog! ;)

Wow the Chucho bandwagon is gathering even more steam.

His English is OK, but it's probably better at this stage that his blog gets translated and good to have someone different there.

I like his blog. :)

It seems to me though... that he is pimping his own body to everyone with all those shirtless pics. :)

Updated.

Sounds like everybody is having a good time in Acapulco. :D

There's another shirtless-on-the-beach picture. Are my eyes deceiving me or is it Coria on Chucho's left? Looks so small.

I like the shirtless pictures too. :yeah: Should be a requirement for all the guys who are fit.

chicky841

lol. nicofan im glad u have that stipulation of only havin fit guys be shirtless. Chucho is definately pimpin himself out. (anybody else see the tenispro show?) he always seems to be shirtless in that show, or at least in some state of undress. and im definately lovin it.

I don´t think he´ll play doubles if he retired from the singles match... BTW, the first information about it, is he had a "muscular injury" (sic.)
