Well this is too sad for Robin. This was supposed to be HIS day; Sweden's vikend.

Team Sweden winning the gold in hockey, Sofia winning the WTA title - but nevertheless.

I mean this was a very tight match. The first set was even steven and Robin made one little slip up and Tommy took advantage.

The second set, Robin served first and got out to a lead, was broken first but wasted three BP in one game - he nearly threw his racket and never quite recovered mentally.

Congrats to Tommy - hopefully on the road to top ten again, but this wasn't the blowout everyone was expecting and I knew it wouldn't.

Tommy had one measly extra BP and converted his chances; Robin didn't - it's that simple.

Well done Haas! :yeah:

yeah, but other then that sweeden had a good day none the less, too bad for robin. he'll have another shot in las vegas.

hopfully him and murray will square off for the 3rd week in a row.

lol, great reference! I only wished the German Davis Cup team could copy some of the team spirit which their counterparts in biathlon or speed-skating have shown. :o
