Not much confidence in it here so playing it small.

Not touching the spread or total this evening, but I will have a small wager on Bruton to score 20 or more to keep me interested at tonight's game.

I know he has been a little quiet the past few games, but in the three games thus far againt the Tigers he has scored 23 or more so I wouldn't be surprised to see him get at least 20 again tonight.

I agree, this one could go either way - this will sound extremely ridiculous, but the Kings need the W tonight more badly then the Tigers IMO. Homecourt advantage is what is going to keep them in this series, Tigers are more balanced on paper and Anstey is going to hurt us, it is a question of how much the Kings can limit his effectiveness.

If Tigers win tonight, even I will admit Kings will need something special to get the 4 peat.

Well CJ took enough shots to get 20, but last night was one of those games where he could have fallen off a boat and still not have hit water.


I've not seen a team get manhandled on the boards like the kings in a while, outrebounded by about 20 for the night.


It nearly looked like the Tigers offence was pretty much just throw it at the ring and let the big men go get it for an easy bucket. So many times it looked like most of the Kings guys were running away from the ball hoping for a transition bucket only to turn around and see (insert Tigers name here) crashing the boards and getting an easy lay up.

Hopefully Goorj can figure something out between now and tomorrow night otherwise the Kings will be in for another long night :sad:

I lost count on the number of times the Tigers had an easy Off board and a subsequent put back.

Thanks BG I did hedge a little on the Kings, but the Tigers winning is a better result for me in the outright. May hedge a tiny bit more now too.

Markets all closed though think there is some doubt on CJ for game 2.

Centrebet has Melbourne 1.40 to Sydney 2.90 in the outright. I read into that, that CJ must be playing in G2.

But it will become official sometime soon....

I'm on the overs as well BG.

Sydney managed to score 93 points on one of their worst shooting nights of the season, so unless they make it two nights in a row of poor shooting and shot selection this will cover IMO.

Also having a litle wager on Smith to out score Thomas, Tucker, McDonlad and Wortho. With CJ labouring it will be on the captain's shoulders once again to get it done for Sydney.

Here's hoping he Kings can make a game of it tonight, but right now I have no real confidence in them.

Still not a bad result here as I pick up far more than 1 unit If the Tigers win the series.

Its generally regarded Anstey as only an outside chance to win the season MVP. Has me scratching my head to be honest.

CJ doesn't need to be guarded very well at the moment. He can't hit a shot to save himself right now.

Bruton has had possibly his worst game I have seen him play ever on both offense and defense, just wasn't the same since he came back from injury

Yep those two threes he hit came way too late. Tigers are worthy winners, they got it done when it mattered.

I would have liked the Kings chances vs any other team. They have nothing to be ashamed of, as to be blunt the Tigers played great ball and I don't use the word great lightly.
