Revenge is so sweet. :haha:

Unbelievable. And it was so easy too.

5 Brits in the top 200  Does it get any better than this?

Horatio Caine

QF victory worth a jump from 230 to 185 to 155  :yeah:

Hola Mr. SK

Arvind's luck couldn't get any better than this. It's not just the fact that it's an ATP event. It's actually an IS GOLD event, worth a lot of points. And he has a realistic chance of making it to the semis.

UNBELIEVABLE.

I feel so happy for Arv though - he has rarely seen this height of the Tour and he must be enjoying it....not to mention the fat cheque he will receive! Times have been hard for the last 12 months or so :bigcry:

Read one of my earlier posts...final is even remotely possible! :haha:

But yeah, this is Arv. We need to get real :bolt:

nice win for him, Murrays magic is working for other brits too.

haha the press in britain is like "WOW CAN WE FINALLY WIN WIMBLEDON???"
^ unlikley, unless federer smokes dope.

Arvind is most assuredly on the rampage. Murray's form seems to have been inspirational, as Bogdanovic likewise has been posting some really good results of late.

at least the British media could shift their eyes on more guns which's good for Henman and Murray.

Meffert played way below his level in the qualifying matches. Arvind served well, as usual, but was not really that good. Meffert mostly just hit balls long and in the net

dent retired only because he´s scared of parmar

Horatio Caine
02-23-2006, 12:28 AM
LMAO - Arv really can reach SF! :haha: Gooooooo Arv!!! :yeah:

Corey Feldman
02-23-2006, 12:46 AM
 Arvind, keep this up!
what a qf of one of the biggest indoor events in the world, Parmar v C.Rochus..
surely a great chance of 1 more win for the Prince Naz lookalike
dent retired only because he´s scared of parmarsame way Federer avoided Basel last year, was terrified of a rematch/revenge with Alan Mackin from the DC match
:p

Arvind in the semis the comedic potential of this thought is great.

Lets see if he can't choke in this tournament.

Quite a funny interview with Arvind here

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/4740000.stm

Then on the right click interview: Arvind Parmar

:)

Jimnik
02-23-2006, 01:05 AM
Great interview :yeah:

I would really love to see him in the top 100 one day. He said it's never too late - I just hope he's right.

As well as his run at this tournament, he'd need another good run at Queens, Nottingham and/or Wimbledon.

COME ON ARV!

Horatio Caine
02-23-2006, 01:15 AM
He isn't top 100 quality mate.

I've always likened him to a poor-man's Arthurs...and it has always baffled me why he couldn't camp around the 150 mark which is where I think he should be

Jimnik
02-23-2006, 01:21 AM
I know he isn't, but a lucky run like this should help him get in anyway.

Even if he can't get top 100, a spot just outside the top 100 will do. If more Brits can get into Wimbledon automatically, they can use the wildcards for the other players.

Bogdanovic, are you listening?

Horatio Caine
02-23-2006, 01:29 AM
Oh hell yeah it will help :yeah: I don't think he will even touch it though.

I think Bogo in his current form could be top 80 at best probably...a journeyman like Kim for example.

azza
02-23-2006, 02:09 AM
Christoph Will beat him 6-3 6-1 :)

Corey Feldman
02-23-2006, 02:10 AM
Jez, dont forget Kim humped bogo at wimbledon last year :p

Action Jackson

I think Bogo in his current form could be top 80 at best probably...a journeyman like Kim for example.

He needs to lose 10mps against Kim, before he can make that step just like Arvind did. It takes skill to lose 10mps and be a set and 5-1 up.
