Great job Jonny Mac and and Jonas, McEnroe really sparked my interest in doubles this week. Amazing how a 47 year old man (he had a great partner) can win the tournament in his first pro doubles match in several years. :woohoo:

Good fight to Paul and Jim. :yeah:

That's funny. We were all wondering the same thing about you.

And we aren't joking, unlike you.

But ahem, congratulations to McEnroe and Bjorkman, they went through a couple tough matches in the semi-finals and the finals - it would be cool if they could play at the Grand Slams!

Pure greatness from JMAC.

How does the old tennis adage go? "The best doubles team in the world is J. McEnroe and whoever he chooses as his partner."

I'm glad but I gotta say he can head back to the seniors tour anytime now that this title is out of the way. Final was a lot closer than I imagined so congrats to Goldstein and Thomas.

Way to go, John. It's quite a pleasure to see someone like him come back that was so great, but before my time. :D

I wonder if this will spark some interest in a return from him? :D

I'd like to see a Navratilova/McEnroe mixed team at Wimbledon. ;)

Pure greatness from JMAC.

How does the old tennis adage go? "The best doubles team in the world is J. McEnroe and whoever he chooses as his partner."
Almost. It was "Best pair in the world - McEnroe and Fleming. Second best pair in the world - McEnroe and anyone else"

John still has the best hands in the world.

^Ah yes, thank you. Fleming and JMAC...now that was a doubles team. It's hard to imagine now, but when John was dominating the singles tour, he also dominated the doubles tour.

Johnny Mac made a great sub for PimPim in the mean time.

Now when Dubai rolls around, the big Swede will have his doubles game rolling again to go with the godly serve.

How does the old tennis adage go? "The best doubles team in the world is J. McEnroe and whoever he chooses as his partner."I was thinking about that when I was watching the matches this week. I'm not sure that Johnny Mac would have been successful this week had he teamed up with a random singles player or a second-rate doubles player. Bjorkman was a great partner (playing from the opposite side he normally does nonetheless) and Johnny Mac could concentrate on what he was doing knowing that Bjorkman had his back. I think that he might have not felt as secure with a lesser partner & tried to do too much to overcompensate. I've seen him do that when playing exhibitions or senior doubles & it usually doesn't end well. Maybe the best doubles team in the world now is "Bjorkman and anyone else."

Anyway, after the match Johnny Mac said he was going to take several months off to savor his victory (something about leaving them wanting more) & would meanwhile go back to where he belonged: the seniors tour.

Nice to see that doubles at least can still be won with great hands even if your not so athletic.

I really hope Johnny Mac's great run sparks a trend! Bring back Wilander! Rafter! Rios! Goran! Where is Edberg? Becker? Noah? Courier? Forget? Stich? Cash? Bruguera? Krajicek? All these guys won doubles titles or were doubles finalists in the 90s, like John. I know it's too much to ask for Nastase, but how f-ing amazing would that be.

What bittorrent program did you recommend originally? I downloaded it once to download clips, but think I must've deleted it, and have forgotten the program. Thanks!

Bitcomet shits all over every other client! Download that andy!! Sadly I have had to stop using it, and change to utorrent which is usable but nothing compared to bitcomet.

Its banned on many of the big private trackers, but the trackers for these matches are public ones! so you will be able to use bitcomet.
