NRL - Go back a couple years and Brisbane have always been the tem to beat. Are in the finals series every single year.

AFL - Brisbane Lions had one bad year, won three flags and a runner up.

A-League - Season not over. Go Adelaide. Soccer sucks anyway. :o

NBA - Sydney don't play in no NBA but they do play in NBL and I have nothing for this. Won three championships in a row. Too good, I guess.

However I personally think if you are from Sydney or the moment you put that Sydney jersey on you have an advantage straight away. And that is in fact why..if you want to taste EASY success go to Sydney, if you want to taste real success Don't go.

My opinion anyway. I know no one here believes me but hey, each to their own.

I lost count of the amount of fouls that Burgess committed that went unwhistled and that call on CJ with 1.45 left has to go down as the worst call of the season. Even blind freddy could have seen he was shooting.

I am high.

Bruton was shooting, no doubt, BUT:
1. He wasn't fouled in the first place
2. Cairns had more than one shooting foul in the first half and were ruled on the floor. The one on Stewart was almost as bad as the one on Bruton but Stewart was atually fouled
3. Multiple Sydney players came in over the back of Taipans multiple times and no call

But hey, you play for Sydney you get success wherever you go.

I hope the Tigers maul the absolute shit out of the Kings.

Another thing, the goal tend at the start. Bad call.

Okay....as I said I am biased but honestly I think I am correct.

For this season I have finished contributing here. Thankyou for your time! :wavey:
Sorry for pissing all you off!

I will be back next season.

By the way, do you guys have NRL betting threads throughout the year?

Yep, you can't win them all but it sure would have been nice :)

I just feel sorry for all the people that got the -2.5 or worse, that finish would have been a real kick in the teeth for them.

I think by game time the Kings were -4.5 at Centrebet, thank god for the slow witted folks at Bet365 eh :D

Here's hoping all the Kings fans at MTF can get along to the games. I know I'll be there - it should be a cracker of a series.

Cheers,

Sparks

you can tick off my name on the attendence sheet now :D :D

lets hope for a crowd of more than 3,000 at least

1. You do realise a foul occurs when you hit a guy on the arm, which Crosswell did.
2. For sure you got a couple of rough calls, I am not going to deny, but please take off the rose coloured glasses and try and be a little bit unbiased ;)
3. I guarantee you that for every over the back foul Sydney committed that went unwhistled Burgess had one as well. Burgess was an absolute menace tonight, on at least four occasions he blatantly barged blokes out of the way.

Personally I am not that fussed about that because the refs let alot go on at both ends, but for you to say the refs cost you the game is laughable.

Anyone that has seen a game or two in their time will tell you it was Cairns inability to execute and 23 turnovers that cost them the game, not the referees.

Cheers,

Sparks

Cats

One of the most thrilling, exciting, tension-filled games I've ever been to in Game 2. Fantastic atmosphere, pity about the result, we were so close but couldn't shake the Tigers off.

Tigers to win the championship over the under-sized Kings.
