Ferrero v. Federer
Schuettler v. Moya
Roddick v. Coria
Bryans v. Etlis/Rodriguez

Question: Why do Ferrero and Moya still have to play when they are out of the running? What's the point?

to make Federer and Schüttler tired for the semis ;)
Na all have to have 3 matches played - remember last year AA run off for the last match - JB replaced him to play Federer in the last (usless) tie

Good luck Roger, Guillermo & Carlos!!!
The only match where I am not torn is Schuettler's. :)
Good luck to all the other players but a little more luck to Gui.

Good luck Roger :)

they have to play to determine rankings. If Ferrero beats Fed, he makes sure that Fed can't move past him. Plus I'd go out there and play for the possibility of winning another $120,000 don't know about you!

I think the scheduling sucks. Whoever wins the night match tonight has to come back and play Roger tomorrow afternoon, who will have had many hours more rest. I guess I don't know how they could've done it differently, since the doubles final is tomorrow night and they have to play the singles SF some time, but something different must have been possible

True, although I expect if Roddick beats Coria, a Roddick/Federer semi would be on second tomorrow, which gives him a bit longer. But it wouldn't help Coria much.
Also Agassi has a whole day off, but Schuettler doesn't.

yes exactly.... the scheduling just seems weird.

bunk, you dare complain about scheduling, etc. when you chastise others for complaining about the draws?
11-14-2003, 09:30 PM
I'm not complaining at all, it just seems like it could somehow have been done a little better for ALL of the players. Like I said, I also don't really know of a way for it to be any better but it just seems a little bizarre. What I said about the scheduling is NOTHING like the whining and bitching about the draws lol

Are you always online

um.... technically my computer is always connected. I come in and out for a few minutes here and there throughout the day. Fridays aren't busy for me so I have more time to bum around.
