Alex Bogomolov jr and wife Ashley Harkleroad went out together, as married couples do. It was about lunchtime, but scarcely a date. In quick succession, each one won the second round of the Australian Open qualies.

Each came with a dream of making the main draw, for Ashley quickly won her match. Bogie matches lasted a little more than three hours. they have had longer dinners.. "kind of weird" when they discovered that they were to play back-to-back on court 6, but at least it meant that each could cheer and watch each other's match. Will be doing it again today on court 7, husband and wife are a good entertainment at the qualies

Court 7 (start : 10am)
1. (2)Ashley Harkleroad vs Vania King
2. (10)Olivier Patience vs Alex Bogomolov Jr.
Harkleroad cheered sympathetically when Bogomolov won a point, loudly when a linesman made a call in his favour. These are second-round rituals. But turned into an epic battle between Alex Bogomolov Jr and Canadian Frederic Niemeyer.

Bogomolov Jr finally clinched his way into the final round 6-7 (9-11) 6-2 12-10, finding a way to break Niemeyer's booming serve when it counted most.

As they go today for their final round of qualification both Alex and Ashley can't afford to take the wins too high, nor the losses too low," " both have pretty good balance." . :)

Does someone know at what time the qualif will start ?

I ve seen 10.00 A.M. in australia but i don't know the exact time right now in australia.
I am GMT +1 , which means like paris , germany and stuff, it s 10 p. m . now where i live. Is it +10, +11, or +12 in australia ?

Thx

still a lot of work for Lammer

6 Deutsche?

Haas, Kiefer, Schüttler, Mayer wer noch?:p

Was hat Berrer gestern für Mist gebaut?!:(

Phau besiegt Berlocq, Kohlschreiber besiegt Dlouhy und Waske könnte einen deutschen Qualifier zugelost bekommen. ;)

Berrer hat mich auch geschockt! Im dritten macht er sogar nochmal das re-break und verliert dann doch gleich wieder. Und all das nach einem ganz leichten ersten Satz. :( Lammer mit dem Break. !!!!!

Mr. Harkleroad as he is known in the tennis world, won the most important points :yeah: , had more hunger than olliver patience. Mrs. Harkleroad Bogomolova seemed delighted as her husband won the match, her reaction was like if he qualified for the first time to the main draw of a slam. Delighted she was when match point was won, she could jumped as high as it could reach the sky. :D :bounce: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: hard to figured out, for sure it was something special :p . In the first match without problems she breezed through booking a spot into the main draw. :bigclap: . Both wins deserves :hatoff:
