he's got some matches under his belt. i think he should just go to melbourne and practice and not risk injury/burn out by playing kooyong

Would be a wise move, although i see Ivan going to Kooyang playing maybe one match or 2 tops and then withdrawing.

I think it would have been wiser to play Kooyong instead of Chennai. At least he'll have some good opponents in Kooyong.

i thought he would skip this and go back home, to see his dad, who just had 2-3 surgies in past few days, he is okay now. should get getting out of hospital next week.

well Kooyong is an exibition so he won't overdo it i think it's okay, it's more a practice for AO than a tournament ;)

It's actually good for him that he's playing Kooyong, there will be his main opponents for the AO title, and I doubt he'd put too much effort as to risk injuries, etc... but you never know.
