Australian Open...

Any idea whether it's possible to turn up to the Australian Open without tickets on the day and get in? Are there massive lines all night like at Wimbledon? I'm flying down to Melbourne but I don't have my AO tickets yet, I just plan to sort it out when I get down there on Jan 15th and go as many times as I can.
Thanks

If you want a ground pass, you can turn up that day and definitely get one.
If you want RLA tickets, they are sometimes sold out. Best to buy those a few days in advance.
Queues are definitely not as long as Wimbledon! I've been going for years, and turning up about 10am the same morning, and the most I've ever had to queue was 20 mins.

yeah, you'll get ground passes no problem, but i dont think you'll be able to get RLA tickets, maybe if you're lucky though...

Yeah its all good. Go there on the day and get a ground pass, no problems.

Best value sporting ticket in Australia.

Cost about 10-12 pounds your language.
