This thread is for Oaf's losses. Every time he loses we can post our best meatloaf pics and recipes. I have a feeling we will be seeing lots of OAF LOAFS this year :p :tape: ;).

Roast Meat Loaf Ingredients

2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped, 1 md
1 each egg, lg
1/2 cup oats, quick-cooking
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp parsley, snipped
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp savory or thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup catsup or chili sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar, packed
(this seems to be USA receipe so just add a 14 tablespoons of vodka to make the russian version :p :)

Roast Meat Loaf Directions

Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all the ingredients except the
catsup and brown sugar together. Press the mixture firmly in an
ungreased loaf pan 8 1/2 X 4 1/2 X 2 1/2-inches. Loosen the edge
with a spatula and unmold the loaf in an ungreased baking pan 13 X 9
X 2-inches. Mix the catsup and sugar then spoon onto the loaf. Bake
uncovered for about 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Remove the meat loaf to a plate
and let stand for 10 minutes. Then slice and serve on a heated
platter. NOTE: If you don't have a pan this size, just form the
mixture into a loaf in the large baking pan. VARIATION: Roast Meat
Loaf Ring: Press the meat mixture firmly into an ungreased 5 to 6
cup ring mold. Unmold in the baking pan by rapping mold against the
bottom of the larger pan. Brush with the catsup mixture. Bake for
about 50 minutes. If you desire, the hole in the ring can be filled
with hot potato salad or creamed peas or VODKA!!!!!!!!! :rocker2:

Serves: 8

No, it has nothing to do with Marat's weight. Here is a hint: what animal is bacon made from? And what player is likened to that animal on this board?

My english is pretty bad, loaf = bread, right?
What "loaf" has to do with Marat?

I don't get it. We have a duck, a rabbit, a weasel and a pig in the MTF zoo. Marat should be a hippo, no?

Ask Dirk, it's his thread :p

There is a loaf of bread, yes, but there is also meat loaf which is, well, meat that comes in the form of a loaf. I guess since the word 'Loaf' rhymes with 'Oaf' Dirk came up with 'Oaf Loaf'.

And as for Ollie, considering the way Roger is playing assuming they meet in the semis (which is no given by any stretch of the imagination) Ollie well might beat him.

Gee, like you don't believe he can and WILL play better vs Oli (or vs Misha for that matter). I have more faith in him than you 2 do!

Playing down your expectations? Two can play this game. ;) Rafa's been out for so long that to me every win feels like a major achievement atm. A loss (at any point in the tournament) would be sad but not shocking, even less so to Rogelio.
